So Far, So Good
This is the third type of 1 hand soap dispenser I have tried. I purchased this brand due to the fact it is high impact plastic for safety reasons. One plus is that it saves on the amount of dishwashing concentrate. The drawback is that if you are washing something very soiled, it takes several pumps as the foam is not very sudsy. When filling the container, you only add about 1 fifth or sixth concentrate to the rest, water.

It’s a great size ,and I like the look of it .
I like this foaming soap dispenser . I like the look of it and I like the size if it . I use it in the bathroom next to the sink . Unfortunately the pump gets stuck after some use . I have to pull up on the pump after I press down . I’ve tried to rinse it out so it will pump properly but no luck . But for the price I think I’ll keep it .

Pretty and practical
I love foaming hand soap - it makes it so easy to wash your hands. This bottle lets me turn regular liquid hand soap into foaming hand soap. The marking for the soap level and water level are very helpful; no more guessing. The bottle is a pleasing shape; it's not glass so it doesn't break when the cat decides to play on the sink, and the pump works dependabley every time. The only drawback to plastic soap bottles is that they can hold onto the scent of whatever is put into them, but that may not be true of this one. I haven't tried changing scents in it. This is a good enough value that I will most likely purchase a few more so I can have one near each sink, and use different soap scents in each one. I highly recommend it.

Works smoothly
After using the Target brand one and replacing it 3x, I decided to look on Amazon for an alternative. I came across this item and it’s definitely better quality and the mechanism to create the foam doesn’t get stuck.

Good quality and easy to clean, it delivers the foam in 2 pushes, looks attractive
I was happy with the suction and amount of foam that it dispenses, it is better than expected.

When it works, it works well...When it doesn't, it's garbage
Bought this to use with a gift of Dr. Bronner's soap I had gotten for Xmas and decided to use it for a while before submitting a review. While the unit looks nice, it feels less so because of the plastic construction. This plastic, particularly the "chromed" cap is slippery when wet, so to prevent dropping it I'd suggest keeping it on a shelf/counter rather than having to pick it up to use while showering.Filling the bottle is really quite simple, measuring lines are clear and the system worked beautifully for me for about 6 weeks, enough time for me to go through one bottle of soap and water. As others have mentioned the pump mechanism tends to get sticky. For me it was only on the first pump, like it had to get primed/lubed with soap and water before working well again. This started after about 3 weeks of use and continued to get worse from then on.The foaming pump however continued to work very well for another 3 weeks and abruptly stopped foaming. What came out was more like drool. Note that I had not changed the mixture, this was the very first fill I put into the pump. The wide range of reviews makes me think that many were made after relatively short usage period. It also seems that the plastic construction of the unit is not up to the demands of daily use. There really isn't any reason for it to deteriorate the way it did. Using plastic construction allows it to be made cheaply but inserts a certain vagueness in the quality. If you're lucky, it might go on for many months before failing....if not, reviews show failures as early as a week.I took my chance and got about month and a half, but now Amazon won't accept it for return or replacement. If you insist on buying one of these, I suggest you go to a local Bed Bath and Beyond. If it breaks in a week, a month or three months they will take it back, refund your money or replace it. Why deal with Amazon's unhelpful attitude and get get stuck? Choice is yours.

4 1/2 years later - still works great
I bought two of these 4.5 years ago. Both are working wonderfully. The plastic tops have lost some of the metallic paint, but still working great. I just bought a third one today for a new sink in our home. I think that I should share that I do NOT put castille soap in my dispensers. I've heard from so many people that doing so sooner or later leads to clogs. So while I can't say how castille soap affects this product, I can share that it is long-lasting quality with clear hand soaps watered down as recommended on the bottle.

Great foaming pump
Love this pump. I use it in the kitchen every day, dozens of times a day. Its holding up well. It comes with markings so you know how much soap to use and its worked perfectly since day one. This is a standard size soap pump but i find it more visually pleasing than the bath and body works one. Its made of hard plastic so its held up to me knocking it off the counter a few times.

Useless to buy. Stopped giving foam after 4months
Update new= after using for more than 3months it has stopped giving out proper foam soap. Its useless to buy for long term and wont work properly.Update = after using for 3months it stopped giving out foam soap properly even though the water and soap ratio was accurate. Looks like there is a small plastic thing inside pump which gives out foam which maybe the reason for not performing well.Looks gud. It has level for water and soap how much u shud pour in. I ordered thinking its a chrome silver as shown but I got somewhat golden brownish sort of colour pump. Also the pump from inside stucks smtimes while pressing it and doesn't give out that required FOAM.Update= u need to first fill in liquid soap (not thick type) and then water so that it bcms a liquid soap as a whole and then try using it for foam experience.

Good for a few days but completely failed after one month of use - AVOID!
If you are looking for a foaming soap dispenser, this is a good one to get (However, see later updates below). The spout, plunger mechanism and screw cap are made from plastic, but available in a variety of finishes, including bright chrome and satin chrome (brushed nickel). Being made of plastic is an advantage since it will not corrode, unlike many other soap dispensers (all of them in my experience) made from “stainless steel”. This is a major benefit since the “stainless steel” types can become rust stained quite quickly due to the corrosive nature of many liquid soaps. The bottle is clear acrylic plastic, with markings to show the levels to which the liquid soap is to added and another mark to show how far to top-up with water. Far more water is required than soap, making the dispenser very economical to use.The dispenser works very well, delivering quite a large quantity of foam on each press of the plunger. Two or three presses will provide enough to wash a large pair of hands. The style of the dispenser is a matter of opinion, but the small depression in the top of the plunger, presumably to help prevent a finger slipping off, holds a small quantity of water after use with wet hands. This puddle could provide a reservoir for bacteria. The assembly, even when full, is quite light and is unlikely to damage basins and tiles if dropped onto them. I purchased this dispenser to replace two other soap dispensers; a stainless steel one which corroded very badly, and two samples of another type in which the plunger failed to return after being pushed down.In summary a very practical dispenser that works just as intended, and continues to retain its appearance over time.Update 1:-After several weeks the plunger will occasionally be reluctant to return, and requires a bit of help. The plunger return spring stiffness is not large enough. This seems to a common happening with all the soap dispensers that I have bought, fortunately this one is not as bad as all the others. Since this problem only occurs after a period of use, I strongly suspect that an ingredient in the liquid soap is causing the plastic pump mouldings to swell and hence the plunger to stick. This problem may be specific to certain brands of liquid soap, therefore using a different type of soap may help.Update 2:-Plunger has now completely seized. Worked for one month, plunger gradually getting slower to return after being after being depressed. The third type of soap foam dispenser that has failed in the same way. It would appear to be a problem common to all - junk!

Excellent
Elegant, minimalistic, works as expected. The best part: clearly visible level markers for the amount of liquid soap required and for water top-up - making diluting to the correct ratio of soap and water very easy - and giving the perfect mix producing consistent rich foam output (whilst saving on the costs of soap)
