I got this to cover a big, 18-oz soup/drinks mug that stays on my desk. It keeps dust out of the mug on the rare occasion when the mug is not in use. It prevents soup and chili from splattering in the microwave when reheating in the mug, which saves time and frustration. It keeps steam in, and helps to retain heat a little longer. If I sit outside, the cover keeps flies out of the mug. The cover can also be used on canned drinks or to refrigerate opened canned food. The cover is thin enough to be flexible and close most of the gap around a spoon. It isn’t so thin that it is delicate/fragile. It’s a good balance. It has a smooth texture, but grips to the mug, because of the material, so the cover doesn’t slide around. This lid is the perfect size for my oversized mug (I measured according to the product description before buying). There isn’t so much overlap that it catches on my sleeve, just enough to stay on the mug comfortably, without falling in.

I wanted a top for my Ember coffee mug to hold in the heat. I then found this and it absolutely works. My coffee stays warmer in a way that the Ember mug fails to do. Once I pour refrigerated creamer in my coffee, it immediately cools it and not until I get down to about 1/4 mug left does the Ember have it at my preferred drinking temperature (big disappointment with this mug). Anyway, this lid keeps my coffee warm all the way through. There is definite suction which is important but not so much that I have a problem lifting the cover up. After I have washed my mug, I replace this lid which helps keep any dust out throughout the day.

As alluded to in the headline, my primary interest in this product was to eliminate gnats getting into my coffee (especially at this time of year). For this task, the cup cover works very well. Plus it is easy to clean and very durable.

Keeps liquid warm for 30 min. If you need more will not work. Good for microwave as well so nothing spaders

Thought this was overpriced, but the quality and functionality far exceed others I've used. Lightweight, but seals and insulates very well! South Korean manufactured so no toxicity.

Fits my regular size mug perfectly and it just fits my larger mug. Suctions on nicely and keeps unwanted things out of my coffee.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, she wanted something to cover her drinks from dust or when she's outside from bugs. This definitely does the trick. She is obsessed with them 😂 she keeps sending me pictures saying how good they are and what I didnt know was that it has some sort of suction when placed on the cup. She talks them up so much I'm going to have to buy some for myself! Well worth the purchase.
