Excellent Product!
Although I have only just purchased this mobility scooter, it is fabulous. Very comfortable, sturdy, and great maneuverability.I had to contact the seller as I couldn't find the battery charger hole but they responded immediately with helpful photos.I suggested they improve their limited manual, and they have advised this is in hand as it is a very basic one page! Just little tweaks that will make things easier for purchasers. The scooter arrived fully assembled, with a nifty wee basket to add to the front too. This item is excellent quality. Folds to the size of a large suitcase and is easy to pull behind you - will be perfect for trips at home and abroad. The battery can be charged either separately or still attached.... just perfect.Although it's a bit heavy, I managed to lift into my car boot (I'm 56 and a shorty!) but it's not too heavy to pull along if need be.Can't tell you how much this purchase will improve my day to day life! So happy I shopped around and took the plunge!

Useless on some hills
On the flat, it's okay, but when it comes to hills, it struggles. Downhill it runs away and the brake has no effect and the only way to stop it is to put your feet on the floor. Uphill it struggled; it was just as well my wife was on hand to give me a push.We got it to help me round the local town which is mostly on the flat or very gentle gradients and it will cope with that but unfortunately where I live is in a small fishing village. The fact that it folds up and down means that I can take it on the bus and go shopping in the next town.

Excellent bit of kit!
Airport approved, light but strong. Loved it but could not get it going due to too short instructions.Customer Service for the machine and Amazon responded immediately and favorably.Good results........

Compact foldable scooter but not keen on hill starts
This is a pretty good mobility scooter. Despite its relatively light weight, it certainly seems to be pretty stable. I would doubt that the claimed range would be achievable (especially for heavier users) but that's not really a great surprise. What is more concerning is that the manual says that it can cope with a 10% slope. Well, with an 18-stone person on it, it doesn't; at least not from rest. It sensibly applies power gradually, and once going, can manage the slopes quite well. Just make sure you don't stop to let others catch up, or you'll never get going again! The other niggle is the brake. Yes, it slows you down, but it doesn't stop the wheels spinning; and I'm going to have to try and adjust it for safety reasons. On the positive side, it is surprisingly comfortable, and has a very good turn of speed too; and the twist grip controller means that you can control it well at a very slow (toddler walking speed) speed.EDIT - I originally gave this review as 4*, but after the scooter completely failing on us, I requested a full refund (which I received with no quibbles) but on the condition of making the review 5*.I do note though that (failure aside), the current model advertised is supposedly better at climbing hills (couldn't have been much worse) and with a decent electromagnetic brake)

Didn't meet expectations...
I really had high hopes for this scooter as it seemed that it was going to be lighter, faster and more compact than my existing one.Firstly though I must say that the communication with the seller was great and all responses were received within a day or two.The scooter was easy to assemble but was a bit stiff to open/close but this could simply be because it was new.Actually using the scooter is where I was hugely disappointed. Firstly I should say that I'm a bigger man at 6'2" and 17st however the weight capacity of the scooter is advertised as around 20st so should be able to cope with 3st to spare. Certainly the construction of the scooter was adequate however the power of the motor wasn't.The scooter worked fine on a flat smooth surface however as soon as you hit even the slightest of incline it didn't have the power to push the scooter up the incline. I even got stuck on the road as I had to slow down to negotiate the drop kerb safely but it then couldn't make the slope and was stuck on the road. I then had to reverse further into the road to build up some speed to get off the road which i felt put me in a dangerous position.I also tried to cut across a grass area and again the scooter lacked the power and ground to a stop. We got back on the path but it couldn't manage to get up the <10° slope. My partner (who is considerably shorter and lighter than me) had a try and it still couldn't get up the slop. On checking the scooter, the drive only powers one of the rear wheels which may explain why it struggled. In fairness to the seller, once I notified then of these issues and that I wanted to return the scooter, they arranged for the scooter to be collected however the return address seemed to be another buyer as the address was a private address in a completely different part of the country from where it was received from.I know I wouldn't be happy to received goods that were 2nd hand....So to sum it up, scooter is well built, seller has great communication but the product is severely let down by being under powered which if you live in the Netherlands wont be a problem.

Starker komfortabler Roller

This zippy little thing checks all the boxes!
I LOVE this scooter. I've looked for a couple of years for something affordable, well built but lightweight, portable and with a longer battery life than the better known brands. It's all but perfect for my short stature and limited capabilities. The couple of extremely minor things I would change are completely situational to me. I have small, weak hand that lack normal range of motion so the bike type brake is more difficult than what is ideal for me but I can do it. The throttle is on the right side and that wrist is frozen but I've remedied that with a suicide steering wheel knob. I can pull it more like a lever than make the motion to twist the throttle. I was concerned about braking because I assumed there was no electric motor brake. To my surprise there is in fact a motor brake. If you let off the throttle the motor disengages and you slow down quickly, even at top speed, without coming to a jerking halt. Also, unlike a previous review stated, the scooter I received DOES have a wheel lock. It's part of the hand brake system. You squeeze the hand brake completely and flip the mechanism attached to keep the brake in the locked position. I cannot wait to explore all of the places I can go without wearing myself out now. I think this scooter will be perfect for everything from tooling around campgrounds to vacationing and flea market shopping trips. Side note: I recommend using caution when turning. Taking a sharp turn too fast can cause a little tippage. I tend not to go full throttle anyway so it's fine for me.EDIT: I've had the scooter for a few months now and I'm probably more in love with it than when I initially wrote the review. I've charged it maybe 5 times and I use it every time I shop or go somewhere with a lot of walking. I have yet to feel like I was going to tip as some others have complained. The tires slip a little in wet grass but I mean, they have no tread so what do you expect? Excited to take it to the Smoky Mountains in a couple of months and see how much exploring I can get in!Edit 2:It's been 2 1/2 years and many many trips to many many places. Still absolutely enamored with this scooter. It handles exploring in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for a couple of days without needing charged. I've had to replace the charger once since purchase but nothing on the scooter itself has be changed. Also I've only had to air up the front tire once in the entire time I've owned the machine. I can promise you that should this gem ever need replacing I will absolutely buy this product again without hesitation.
