Take A Shot – Put this in Your Basket
This was purchased to replace a 6 foot basketball hoop that gave up after years of service. This looked similar to several others on Amazon but it was on offer and the cheapest so I thought I would take a shot.It arrived well packaged and free from damage which given it weighs over 20kgs was a nice surprise.On opening the box all of the parts were present, and the fixings were in a separate blister pack. I was really impressed with the quality of the materials, but the instructions were unclear and pretty poor. I initially struggled to work out which way round the angled supports on the base went and although I got it right first time it was more luck than good judgement. The rest of the assembly was very straightforward.With the help of my son we put it together in about an hour and he wanted it on the highest setting. This was easy to do but I found the pole had a slight kink at the joint, so I lowered it by about 150mm and it is straight and solid. He has been using it for a few weeks now and loves it.At the time of writing this review the offer is no longer available and the price is £85.99. I am delighted that I paid less but I would be prepared to pay the full price for this and would happily recommend it.
