Like most folks we have a drawerful of 5V USB chargers and we still buy devices that need a 2.1mm barrel plug. This puts some of those 5V USB charges to good use again. They work well.

There's no much to say about an adapter cable. The ends are as described (USB-A on one end and 5.5x2.1mm barrel jack on the other). They don't seem loose or like they will have issues anytime soon. The cable itself seems "standard".

The wire is fairly thin so it should only be used on situations with low power draw. That is exactly what i was looking for though, so it met my needs perfectly.

I have a low end Vizio sound bar and it came with an ugly 5volt 1amp power brick. Turns out, the USB port on the back of my TV outputs that kind of power. With this USB to DC power cable, I have one less power adapter taking up space, and the sound bar comes on when the TV does. Win win.

I used these to power my halloween animatronics with a battery pack so i didnt have to run power cords and these fit perfectly!

My device needed a cable to supply up to 2A. This product claims 2.5A max. I thought something was wrong with my device or power supply. I then measured and the cable can't even handle .25A! I wasted several hours of my time debugging this! Searching the Amazon reviews, other people reported the same. This cable can't supply more than 1W of power! I tested 2 out of the 5 cables, with the same results. I ordered another cable from Amazon and it worked. Sending this back immediately. Wasted my time due to false advertising.

I don't use these every day, but only on special projects - they have worked well so far.
