Why so high priced? After all this is some moulded plastic pieces and for kids play purposes only for few days

Packaging looks very Old
I bought this to gift someone and when it came outer box is chipped from corners and box looks very old. It doesn’t look like a fresh piece at all.such a well know and expensive brand don’t expect this kind of packaging from the vendor..
