FithOps 12g Perimeter Trip Alarm with .22 Option - Camp Safe Perimeter Alarm and Bear Deterrent

I ordered a overseas version on the bay site because they were alot cheaper. Lesson learned. Messed with the GOLD one and it might fire every 6-8 tries. The FITHOPS fired and worked flawlessly right out of the box. Both are solid, well built - but just look at the pics so you can tell the difference. I have only used the 22 adapter in my trials. The 12 gauge blanks are just waaay too expensive. I would definitely buy this Made in the USA trip alarm instead on the overseas model. Just plain works like it's supposed to do. Very pleased with this and would buy again.

It will work when you want it to. I got the string spools Amazon suggested and that is what you would want to set this up or tear this down quickly. One can connect all the little pieces together with the rings that come with it so you won’t lose any pieces . I first set it up around two 90’s ( metal fence posts) and this is where that string pays off. I decided to try some different configurations. I made a darn spiderweb around different things and it still worked . The dummy loads expand a bit after firing but the large pin that comes with it easily clears the device. I have not tried it with shotgun shells but in a dozen tries the dummy loads worked every time. The way it’s designed allows the string to be pretty tight with a small amount of string pull activating the device. I would buy it again.

I bought this as a gift but I really like that it came with the .22 adapter.

Bought this to keep unwanted critters off the porch at night. Worked fine until the two legged critters started freeroaming the property in the woods behind my house. Lawn crew relieving themselves and spraying harsh weed killer all over the feral cat houses outside of the areas they are to cover... change where I hide the alarms every two weeks. They haven't sprayed and pee'd anywhere they shouldn't have in a while...

Don't hesitate. Get a name, you can trust.
