I ordered 8 of these. 2 for each side of my house. Easy to use, easy to clean. They come with a little plastic key to open it. So kid safe. My pets can not open or get into them at all. So very pet safe. They are small but still noticeable. I have not seen a mouse about 24 hours after putting these out. I would buy these again.

These are very good bait stations. I had bigger ones where the rodents could take the whole bait block out and my dog found it in the yard and almost got it. The holes are big enough that they can get in the bait station, but the bait block can’t be dragged out of the hole. I use the blocks with the hole in the middle so that you can put them on the metal bar that is supplied in the bait station to keep the bait from being dragged out. The hole is small on these so that really isn’t a concern. We did put a screw in the bottom of these and mounted them onto a chunk of weather treated wood so that nothing would move these around the yard. That gives it more weight from the wind too, and so far they are staying put where they were placed.

First of all, this product has the potential to be great. The compact size is ideal for smaller rodents like field mice and voles that we have around the yard from the farms in our area. Where I have an issue is that the product I received is not matching the image in the listing. My Kat Sense Bait Stations have holes in the top covers, which came with a sticker covering them. Because I use these outdoors around the perimeter of our property, they are exposed to the elements, and when it rains, water gets under the stickers and ruins expensive bait placed within. If they decide to respond and resolve the issue, I will post an update and consider changing the rating.UPDATE 24-SEP: The seller was ill and responded. The solid tops which are displayed in the listing are the ideal solution to the issue of rain water, and eventually snow, disintegrating the bait, however, they are still a better design than others I've found. The seller has refunded my purchase and offered to inform me when the solid tops become available again, whereas I agreed to purchase. In the meantime, I will use vinyl stickers or electrical tape to protect the bait from the elements. With a solid top, these would be rated 5-stars.

A little smaller than I wanted but they will work

I pruchased these because they are pet and kid friendly. They do keep the kids/dogs out of the bait, however the proces torefill is annoying to say the least when you replace the bait blocks on the metal rod. The first fill I did out in my garage on a covered work bench with gloves. while annoying still achieveable. However the second fill after I placed them all around our barn was awful. first you have to unlock them to see if they need refilled, then you have to remove any remnants left on the metal rod then you have to put new bait on the rod, all while wearing gloves. I wish these were easier to remove and had a rod that is attached at one side so it doesn't fall on the ground and then you are on a scavenger hunt looking for a 2 inch tiny rod.
