My husband bought this to warm the hot tub hotter than the standard heater goes. It works really good!

This thing was basically dead on arrival. It won’t hold temp. I didn’t test it in time to send it back for a refund so I’m stuck w/ it. Idk if I just got a dud or if this is common.

It did what I wanted it to do.We used it for to heat a baptism pool.

Never reach 2000W stay near 1500 , timer and sensor just work ok. A little pricey for the 1500W Perfomance any question fell free to doit

I like the chirp that the unit sounds of with when heated to programmed temp

It worked fairly well in my small hot tub. You would think the controller would be somewhat water resistant. Unfortunately it rained and the controller must’ve gotten wet, and now no longer works rendering my heater useless.

The plastic top melted and caught fire when I started it. There’s a little sticker on it (not on the instructions) that says not to start it until fully immersed in water, so operator error. Still the plastic too shouldn’t catch fire. I bought it because it had a metal surround. Didn’t realize the top was plastic. Too cheap materials. Oh well. Don’t buy this one. Pay a bit more for a safer one.

The control box is not very user friendly. Directions are very poor and somewhat difficult to understand. Would I stick my hand in the water while it's on? He'll no it doesn't have a GFI of any kind. But does it work? I'm happy as long as you have a good outlet that your not going to overload and trip a breaker.
