JW Pet Company Sillysounds Spring Ball, Large

This is a strong, long lasting ball. It has a mechanism inside it that squeeks and warbles when rolled or jiggled. My dog is concerned its alive and she's hurting it but all the other dogs that come over and play with it love it. It's made incredibly well, it's slightly heavy, and it's a little tough for chewers. But it's a great toy to have in the toy box. When I bought it I was concerned my dog could get the noisemaker out of it and choke but I orderd it anyway to see for myself and like I said, it can be run over with a truck and I don't think the noisemaker is coming out. Its made really well. I have never been disappointed by a JW product as they never disappoint. If your dog loves noismakers but your sick of squeeking try this.A real review by a real person.

Corgo likes the squeeky ball. It's is like the Kong rubber material and is weighty. It does NOT bounce (well). It rolls fine though. It is not the typical squeek sound, but the sound of the kind of toys that you shake back and forth and make noise moving through the air. It will sometimes make noise while it rolls, depends on the way it moves. It's about the size of a tennis ball. If it had a bounce factor I'd rate it a 5.

The sound this ball makes is enormously enticing to Henley, our 4-month-old Golden Retriever. He is very noise oriented (a true squeaky toy connoisseur) and this is an unusual sound to find in a dog toy and he seems to appreciate that. The ball is shaped a bit awkwardly, however, and at this point playing with it consists more of chasing it around and batting at it than chewing on it. Still, for a $2 add-on item, I'll take entertainment in whatever form it comes and would recommend this toy to anyone with a noise-oriented dog.

Supposed to be great for strong chewers, but our lab broke of and started eating pieces of this in less than 5 minutes. Complete waste of money. Extremely disappointed as I have had good luck with this brand's other products.

Purchased for a dog would likes balls and squeaky toys. He likes it but finds it is too hard for him to chew. Plays with it occasionally. Might work well for a hard chewer.

I have a Golden Retriever, a Great Dane and am frequently visited by my grandpuppy: another larger dog: Golden Doodle. All are powerful chewers, with my Golden being the most aggressive. We've had this squiggly shaped ball for quite awhile now and it is still holding up fine!

What enticed me to purchase this ball was the statement “adds safety to play”. This is far from the truth. After five minutes, my little dog chewed a two inch strip off of it and we had to get it out of his mouth. JW should remove that statement. This is one of the most unsafe dog toys for any dog that chews.

JW balls themselves are durable but the squeakers do not hold up. Same week we received Abby my Jack Russell mix removed both of the noise makers. Same thing happens to every jw ball we buy, and we have plenty of them as evidence! You build it my 5 will break it!

Very heavy and the sound isn't made very easily. My dog naturally throws things, but the sound only works if it shaked quickly. Don't really like that toy :/ more like a kids toy then a dogs toy.
