Amazon Basics Catalog Mailing Envelopes, Peel and Seal, 9x12 Inch, White, 250-Pack

These were great envelopes at a reasonable price. We used them for media kits for a flyway groundbreaking on the Memphis riverfront. They were a good choice. I would buy them again.

I sell items on Amazon. During the time of this writing, there have been changes and pauses in the world that have pointed me toward fulfilling my own orders.I purchased several of these Amazon Basic white mailing envelopes. I could have used the manila ones from Costco, but they are 10x13 while these are 9 x 12. Some could argue that you get more paper for your money, but when it comes down to it; that larger size was just too much of an inconvenience.Let's talk about sturdiness.I said I purchased several boxes of these. That means I can bear witness that these things are very uniform in the quality. That is superbly important when you are sending items to clients. On other products, (not the Costco ones, those are also of great quality) that I have tried, there are occasions when the bottom of the envelop does not have enough glue. So the bottom flap opposite to the manual seal side can come loose.In other words. Even though you seal the top. The item you are sending can shoot out from the bottom because of weak glue! That is not the case for these. They are strong (or at least strong enough), and so far (knocks on wood) I have not had a single item that has fallen open in the mail.Cost-wise. I'd say about industry standard. You get 100 for about 13 bucks. That's pretty much the same price or lower then others. I really like the white color. There is something clean about the presentation, and it's those little things that can matter to clients.Let me also point out, that the peel off adhesion is a big plus as well. I know I keep referencing the Costco brand manilla envelopes, but this will go for others with this feature as well.I have previously used the clasp mailing envelopes. You wet the top, then you open the clasp, put the flap down, then re-clasp the top. Whether you lick the top, or use a moistened sponge, it can still be a little unclean. In normal times, that's fine. But in respecting my clients, as well as treating people the way I want to be treated; I do not believe it to be appropriate to use this method in light of the situation of the world.In closing. These envelopes are perfect to use when mailing items to clients. And if they good enough for that, they should stand up to most regular use.

Glad I found these. They work perfect for my use. Was not able to find them at my local stores. They come in the box which keeps them protected. And have a pull tab type seal. No licking glue.
