Helps me to sleep so much better.

These capsules have helped to reduce the cortisol in my bloodstream, which in turn has led to gradual weight loss. I'm taking around 2,000 mg of Ashwaganda every day to help rebalance my hormones. I wasn't expecting to shed pounds, but I'm glad for it!

I was looking for something to assist with stress reduction. I’m not sure I felt any effects. But that may not be this particular brand as I have tried other brands of this same supplement with no noticeable benefits.

Gaia also tests their products for pesticides, heavy metals, etc. They also use DNA testing to verify that the contents of the supplement match the description on the bottle.Ashwagandha is a well-known adaptogen, which means it helps to relieve stress and anxiety. It is hard to measure the level of stress, and many factors probably contribute to it, so I can only provide my personal subjective opinion on this aspect. I believe ashwagandha helps me to sleep better and it helps me cope with daily stress.Some studies also suggest that ashwagandha may increase muscle strength, might reduce symptoms of depression, reduce blood sugar levels, and reduce inflammation. Another small study showed that ashwagandha could improve cognitive abilities, especially in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Participants were taking 600 mg of ashwagandha extract per day.Looking at other studies, it appears that 600 mg is a common dose. Gaia recommends taking 2 tablets twice daily, which would be 1400 mg. Considering the price of the supplement, that might get expensive. I take one serving, 2 capsules, which equals 700mg of ashwagandha extract.Some websites mention that ashwagandha might not work right away, you might have to take it several weeks before you notice its effects.
