The G6 Sport Anti Spy Hidden Camera Detector from Voivey is a step-up from the similar G4 Pro Anti Spy Detector . I found it simpler, lighter, and equally sensitive or better and has an elegant design.Features1. Just note the power button is also the mode button so after pressing about 3 seconds to power on, short-press the same button as needed to select mode. The other button is for adjusting sensitivity, which is reflected by the white light under the buttons. I like it. Hope you have a great experience with it also.

I researched similar products carefully before settling on the G6 (made by jepwco) because it was designed to be an improvement over their popular G4 at a fair price. The G6 is very compact, well made and ready to use as a single unit where other devices have the lens as a seperate attachment. Although it is extremely simple to use, the instructions lack a bit and do not tell you at all how to use the "motion alarm" feature. To be clear, the technology behind these devices are much simpler than they appear in the marketing videos. They are in reality a low-tech solution that requires the user to do most of the work. That said, it is still a capable tool and effective. I tested mine on a variety of cameras and even cell phones at home and and it does work. Having the red lens to look through really enhances your ability to visually detect a pin-hole camera lens. Without it, the reflection is much harder to see. WiFi mode worked when placed extremely close to my wireless router which is transmitting on 2.4 and 5 GHz, but did not detect anything on the active WiFi-connected cameras or cell phones I tested on. Switch it to "full band" mode and the magic kicks in. I was able to get an alert on everything as expected. However, the sensitivity level needs to be set high to get reasonable results. Once you realize these devices are NOT something out of a spy movie and understand their limits and how to use them, it's a great value and well worth it for a little peace of mind. After a bit of practice, I'm confident I can locate hidden cameras and glad I made the purchase.

I purchased this for of course safety reason’s however I didn’t have the opportunity to try it out until Sept, of this year. Unfortunately, the one I received doesn’t seem to work at all. I read the instructions and followed them accordingly with no results. I believe it’s past my return date, so I guess it’s my loss! They don’t seem to have this model in their inventory any longer.

I didn't expect much for the price of this device. Lots of similar products are plagued with inaccuracy due to too much interference or too little sensitivity. This one hits the mark pretty well.Pros:-Very easy to do what I call a broad sweep at the highest sensitivity (so you don't have to be right on top of anything giving off a signal), and then decrease sensitivity to hone in on the device.-Very bright red light in camera detecting mode. Reflects well off of the smallest camera lens.-Nice battery life.Cons:-The wifi mode is useless. Just use the All Band mode to pick up everything.-The aforementioned red light is surprisingly powerful, and looking through the red lens DOES show a clear identification of camera lens, BUT.....you need to be perfectly perpendicular to the hidden camera before you'll see the reflection.-Loud beeps, but I don't find them as intrusive as some reviewers. That said, if you needed to use the covertly, the lack of ability to turn off the audible beeps is problematic.Tips:-Do NOT have your phone in your pocket while you're sweeping for signals. You will get a CONSTANT reading as it will pick up the radio frequencies from your phone.

This product seems to work ok. I think to actually detect anything you’d need to know exactly where the device is or you’d never find it.

It's a very good device that'll make you feel safe when you visit a new place. I highly recommend using it. It's very light, slim and easy to use. It's a fair price for such a quality product.

I needed something that I can use in my travels for my piece of mind. Quite frankly I found it with this little device. What I like about it the most is that it weighs next to nothing but the added practical features built in is definitely plus. One thing, well 2 actually is first, you got to read the instructions and test it out thoroughly to be familiar with how it works. Don’t expect to just get up and run with it. Second, the USB plug that came with the device is the other version not the one everybody is used to which is the smaller kind. Having said that, be careful and examine wha you have or better yet just bring the included USB plug on your trip so avoid any frustration. Other than that, awesome product and I couldn’t be happier with this decision.
