This iHome does so many different things including play music, set alarms, charges Apple products and also can keep an eye on your office or home when you aren't around. This device is a fully functioning iHome as well as a hidden spy camera and DVR. You can set the hidden camera to motion detection mode and the camera will start recording automatically when there is motion. You can also use the included remote control to change the camera setting to manual, schedule or power-up modes. You can save all of your video to the included 8GB SD card set at either 5, 15, or 30 fps. Also, all videos are timestamped so you can find your recordings when you need. You can also upgrade your storage capacity to 64GB that must be purchased separately. You can see what your camera just recorded by inputting the card into your PC or into an SD card reader. You also won't miss any valuable recording with the automatic overwrite feature on the unit that records the newest recording over the oldest files. The device also uses very little power by using only 1 Watt in standby mode and 2 Watts in motion detection mode.
