Boulder CleanMountain Meadow Fabric Softener, 28 FZ

I refuse to fiddle with fabric softener in the washer, hate to buy non-recyclable dryer sheets and had been using Method's dryer spray. But, as many reviewers noted, it clogged the sprayer no matter how often I rinsed it out. I finally used the last of what I had by pouring a tablespoon or two on something coming out of the washer, leaving it to the clothes and dryer to figure it out. Having said all that, why do I bother? I have big dogs who are allowed on the furniture which means a lot of their hair sticks to the furniture covers even after a lengthy "heavy" wash load. I found that spraying softener in the dryer means that much, much more of the hair lands in the dryer filter rather than remaining on the fabrics. Thus, my search for something that breaks that bond. The bottle says it's scented but, if so, so lightly that my allergy-prone sinuses don't mind it. And it does what I want: release dog hair into the filter to be tossed. Hooray, folks, a great product!

I bought this to try because I hated using dryer sheets that couldn't be recycled, and I'm really happy with my purchase. It works just as well at keeping our laundry fresh and removing static, the sprayer hasn't clogged up, and it's super easy to use. I'll be purchasing more when our current bottle runs out (which doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. This is A LOT of product).

I love this product! No dryer sheets to fill up the trash and end up in the landfills, and you don’t have to remember to add to the washing machine. Also, I have some microfiber items that are not supposed to get softener, which is a problem if you’re adding to the washing machine. Sometimes you get a bottle where the sprayer sticks and won’t spray, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to get it unstuck, however, my last bottle has been perfect and it’s almost empty. These are large product bottles! I don’t know why more companies aren’t making a product like this.
