It’s just like described. Saves the front end keel from scrapes.
No dislikes. The fit is a little weird, but once to buckle it down tight with tape and the sealant cures…it ain’t coming off. Recommend marine type of sealants in a tube.

Expensive but worth it
You’re paying for a small study piece of plastic, but it’s easy to install and looks clean. It takes abuse well and that’s what you’re paying for. Obviously you’ve made an investment on your kayak and it is only reasonable to protect it as well as possible. This protects one one portion of the kayak that is always touching the group when loading and unloading. It will also surely protect against and sudden objects in the water.

Hobie passport 10.5 perfect fit
Love this product it's well made super strong easy to install. Fits the hobie kayak passport 10.5 really good. The company suggests use marine goop. It really is super strong and went on well. If you install this I would probably use blue painter's tape around the edges so that the overspill of marine glue goes on the tape and easy to remove.

Sturdy but not form fitting and is expensive
I have no doubt that this will last the lifetime of my kayak. However, it is not form fitting and leaves gaps that will allow for sand and grit to get between the bumper and the kayak. I have filled the gaps in with adhesive/caulk but it does not look the best. The price? Wow, for just a piece of plastic? I bit the bullet and bought it anyway but every time I look at it all that comes to mind is SUCKER.

Perfect fit for Revo 13
There is no need to use heat gun to make it fit on Revo 13. I used JB weld to attach it to the hull of the boat.

Good protection but had to adjust fit
For Hobie Lynx it naturally wanted to fit way too high and would not protect bow when beaching or when setting bow down with scupper wheels installed. Easy to adjust by heating though. Used heat gun, but hair dryer probably would have been enough. I installed mine so it was 4.5 inches below hull/deck seam. So far protecting well - most contact has been near tail end, so probably could have placed it even lower (5 inches or more).

Must Have. Save your kayak from damage by being preventive.
I like the guard. It's a must have. Works great. And it's a peace of mind knowing you're not destroying the bow of you're kayak anytime you bump into anything hard. Hobie Kayaks are surprisingly soft plastic.I installed my nose guard with E6000. Holds great, waterproof.

Not even a close fit
For $55 I was expecting more. This is a small molded piece of plastic that is only 10" long overall and would only cover 7-8 inches of the bottom of the boat. Does not include glue, so on top of $55 you need to go get marine grade glue. The biggest issue is it simply doesn't fit. Instructions say to use a heat gun to mold if needed, but half an inch on both sides is too much. Returning asap.

DOESNT FIT PA12 360 2023
Simply doesn't fit. Like some of the other 1 star review images. I bought 2 of these and both were way off. Almost $200 completely wasted. I want to love Berley Pro being an Aussie but I can't buy from them again after this.
