These are so much easier to wire up than traditional connectors. I’m not great at crimping on connectors but you can’t go wrong with these. You don’t need any special kit - just use a regular crimping tool and cut the excess off with sharp wire cutters.

This review is for the LEENUE RJ45 Pass Through Connectors CAT6 Ethernet Cable Modular Connectors 8P8C Ethernet Plugs for Solid or Standard UTP Wires 50 Pack£7.99 at the time of review.I have reviewed these at the same time as the Cat 5 connectors.I found these pass-through connectors much easier to use than the normal ones as if I cut the sheath a little bit longer, I could grip the 8 wires in the correct order with a finger and feed them through the plug. The ends then stick out so you can finally confirm you have them in the correct order before crimping them.These connectors are so much easier to use than the blind ended ones.The cable clamp broke on a few when I crimped the connector closed which meant the cable wasn’t secure and could be pulled out. I squeezed a little glue from a hot glue gun into the cable end and that trapped the cable better, but you shouldn’t need to do this. They seem to be slightly more robust that their Cat 5 connectors only in that fewer connectors lost their cable clamps when closed, but other than that, they seem the same.Accordingly, and although these connectors seem to be well made otherwise, I’m only giving them 4 stars.

After dealing with running network cables at home, making custom length patch cables for my Raspberry Pi cluster and repairing cables with broken clips and connectors I always struggled with getting a neat and tidy cable connected. With the pass through type, things are much easier.The big difference with the pass through connectors like these and standard connectors is that the individual network cables pass through the end of the connector and need to be trimmed afterwards. The big advantage of working this way is that you dont need to be as precise about trimming the ends of the network cable before assembly. Another great feature of this type of connector is that you can easily see the individual wires in the cable and make sure that they are in the right order. I have had to remake a few cables where this had happened with the traditional style of cable, and this can be eliminated on a pass through cable because it is so easy to check.The pack of connectors come in a handy grip seal bag, and most importantly an instruction leaflet. This is particularly useful because the instructions have the standard 568A and B wiring diagrams with them.Overall, using these connectors made fixing an old broken network cable take less time, and running some custom cables a lot easier, because for me its attaching the plugs that usually causes me the most trouble.I am really happy with these connectors!

The connectors are in a resealable bag inside a windowed bag, and come with some useful instructions. They are a clear plastic pass through version. I shortened a CAT6 flat cable using my standard network pliers, which cut and strip the cable; the stripped length worked well as the cable goes further into the connector and the wires protrude through the end. With the wires protruding it was easier to get them into the right order, rather than peering into the body of the connector. I crimped the connector on and it was firmly attached to the cable, I couldn’t pull it off, and the cable tested OK with my cable tester and worked fine. Overall decent connectors and much easier to use.

Not really too much I can say about this item other than that it was exactly what I was expecting and will serve it's intended purpose. The item arrived well packaged in a sealed packet and you get a good quantity of connectors.
