Easy to assemble Had fun doing it. Looks great as living room item. The sail and mast rigging took some concentration but got through it.

Very nice detailed ship.
1st. model ship that I have purchased. Very nice, large and easy to complete. Simple instructions and ropes/ sails are marked to match the instructions.

Nice, but EASY.
Just like the description says, this isn't a "model" or kit. Think of this like a piece of IKEA ffurniture you have to assemble. Should take you about 10 - 20 minutes. Once it's done, it is nice, but not something that you can kill a whole afternoon putting together.

For the Price.
Overall very satisfied, love the sail details, makes it. The first one that I received was damaged. Check very carefully when you open for cracks. The main body and adornments are decent. Easy to install sails and with just some fine scissors trim off extra loose end thread .

Well detailed and a quality model sailboat
I purchased the smaller size of the Bluenose and wanted the larger size. I was not disappointed. If you are in the market for a semiscale wooden model of the Bluenose, This model is for you.
