Old, made NEW!
I bought this specifically for my 7 year old tattoo. I first applied the Nat-A-Tat2 lotion and let it soak in. Then, I applied this little stick of amazing! I could not believe the difference in the color and how it stood out! This stuff is great. I use it daily. (I’ll go a few days without using it and return to post before and after photos of my tattoo!) Another highly recommended Nat-A-Tat2 product!

Cruelty free and better for me!
This balm is great! It is really soothing on the skin and seemed to speed up the healing process. I also like that it is cruelty free. No need to harm animals for product testing. Thanks Nat-A-Tat2!!

Freshen up your tat!
This tattoo balm is meant to be used on healed tattoos. Do not try and use this on a freshly new tattoo. It did give my 11 year old tattoo shine and temporarily helped brighten it up. When I first applied this tattoo balm to my skin, it came off in chunks. I noticed that it does better when your skin is warm, so it can melt the balm. I do not like the way this feels on my skin. It feels heavy like a Vaseline or chap stick type of consistency. It does not rub in like lotion so you are left walking around with a stickiness on your tattoo.

Not my fave
Found this bar too hard to be used on a fresh tattoo.

Loved loved loved this balm
Loved loved loved this balm. Kept it in my purse and used it periodically. Never left Marla on clothes. No scent either. Great product.

looks like a fat lip balm container
im giving it a 4 for the price and the amount u get in the tube. this product is not greasy and it works well. I rubbed it on my boyfriends 20 year old FADED tattoo and it had no results... its not a miracle worker people. I have many tattoos that I have had done in the past few years. most of them r always concealed from the sun, but the ones on my ankles do get a good amount of sunlight on them. I rubbed this on my ankles and then rubbed the product in. it does bring the colors out... especially the black. it has a faint nice smell and it is organic and vegan... if that's important to u. I dont think this product will last long though. a little goes a long way, but if u have a lot of tattoos, it will b gone quickly. the problem I have with it being in a tube is that u can't reach the ones on ur back. and even if u could, u would be seriously wasting the product and ur money. u have to have someone else moisturize it for u. I dont want to have to bother someone else to do it for me... I just want to do it myself and move on. the container is less then 4 inches tall and 1 inch wide and has a travel feel about it, so when I go to dry Las Vegas next month, it is coming with me. but when im home im just gonna use my other products. I hope this was helpful.

seems great so far!
I got a tattoo over some scar tissue on my foot and a very small part of it wouldn't take the ink. I've been working hard at keeping it moisturized to make sure that the rest stays bright as long as possible. I got excited when I saw this at it will be so much easier as it is basically chapstick for your tattoos. So far it is keeping my tattoo moisturized and I hope over prolonged use It will brighten the remaining ink!

not a fan of the texture
I have mixed feelings about this Nat-A-Tat2 tattoo balm stick. I like that the ingredients (sunflower oil, carnauba wax, coconut oil, castor oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, rosemary extract, lecithin) were pretty straightforward, with the exception of the rosemary extract. And the tube/stick packaging is convenient in theory. It doesn't have added scent so it smells like cocoa butter. It's great that it's made in the USA and certified organic. But the balm itself has an uneven, slightly grainy, sticky texture that feels both thick and oily on my fingers and when applied on skin. It doesn't absorb well compared to other balms. I'm not sure why this is. It could be that the shea butter is imperfectly blended.
