Extremely high quality
Very high quality optically and mechanically quite sturdy. The frame is made of metal rather than the plastic in most flip-ups.These flip-ups are great for bringing fine work close, and their anti-UV coating allows them to convert your regulat glasses into computer- (or reading-) glasses. I notice a major reduction in eye strain using these with my computer, probably due to the attenuation of UV from the screenI would suggest considering these instead of separate reading glasses. One can simply flip them down rather than carrying an extra pair of specs. Just select the correct diopter specification--you can probably find this on the optical prescription for your reading (or computer) glasses.Note too that given the range of magnification these can be ordered with, you might want several pair to facilitate different activities.

Perfect for my work flow.
Nice and strong for intense closeup work - and easily flips up out of the way when not needed. Nice and lightweight and the optics seem excellent.

Not quite right for me
I wanted this to use for detailed painting. Don't think the focus area is quite right with my bifocals, but I will try them with needlework which might be a different angle. And I wish I had gotten stronger than a 3. They are a bit bothersome/uncomfortable, but I've not worn them enough to get used to them, either. They do seem to be quite well made, and not terribly heavy.

Works with my high prescription
I purchased the 3.00 strength. They are very well made and crystal clear. The 'sweet spot', where the field is magnified, is wide enough to read my iPad-mini edge to edge. The lens are slightly larger than most of the reading glasses sold over the counter, and would be considered wide. They are heavy, the more magnification the thicker the lens unless high refractive index plastic is used which would be very expensive. They will work best on glasses which hook behind the ear or are otherwise held firmly in place or the weight of the clip-ons will tend to drag glasses forward. The higher strength also shortens the depth of field to about 12" which works for reading on the iPad but the computor is not in focus. My prescription is very high (10x) and I have to use a smaller lens and the high index plastic to keep the weight of my glasses tolerable. It also effectively doubles the cost of the lens. I had a pair of "reading glasses" made with just the lower portion of my bi-focal prescription and have added these clip ons to them.I had given up on paperbacks and most print books and got the iPad because I could make the font larger. But not every website responds to enlarging, so I thought I would try these. I am very happy with these for quality of construction and performance. I can even read print material more comfortably. 4 stars because they are heavy, I will leave them on my reading glasses permanently and not carry them with me.

GREAT GLASSES for computer work!
These are sturdy clip-on glasses that work great for computer work where my bifocals fail me. I bought two sets, one for home, one for work. the 3+ diopter is perfect for my level of nearsightedness for wearing my regular glasses. I flip them up and down at least two dozen times a day and they are sturdy through it all.

A definite help when fly fishing.
I have tried a number of magnifying solutions and I find this to be the best. This item attaches easily to your existing glasses and flip down when you want to use them then you can flip them up so they are out of the way. I have found this to be ideal on the stream when I am fly fishing. I wear polarized sunglasses that are right for walking ... no bifocals or trifocals that sometimes make it difficult to see where the next step ought to be. Then, when I want to change a fly, I get a good footing, flip this magnifier down and I can see what I am doing up close.Highly Recommend

Did not work properly
These attached fine to my glasses but every time I looked down, they popped up. It is as though the spring is not strong enough to hold them in place. Too bad because I liked everything else about them.

Not small not light
Very misleading title. They were in no way small. They were twice the size of a regular lense and way to heavy, felt like you were wearing a rock on your glasses.
