Worked out great. Easy installation. Nice quality.Here's something really weird, too. The sound of water flowing in the shower pipe has been reduced by this extension.

I love this thing! I really wanted a rainfall shower from overhead and had the additional ceiling space. This did the trick!

Installation was a breeze, used locking pliers with a socket handle in the end of the shower arm, take less time than replacing a bathroom faucet. About a 1 inch gap between the top of the shower arm and ceiling, works well with my SparkPod 9.5 Inch Large Rain Shower Head.

Ordered 1 it had bad threads on shower head end, returned for replacement 2nd one had same issue, returned for refund. Obviously no quality control

This extender piece looks sturdy and would fit my shower head fitting well however the way my current pipe sets into the wall, I cannot remove it to install this pipe and since both threads are male ends I cannot attach to the current pipe either unless I get a female threaded adapter. Will be holding on to this until we renovate our bathroom and can actually install it then.

This is very easy to install because you can use it as a crank , I usually use a wrench or something to make sure it's tight and didn't have to because the shape lets you tighten it to much almost , it was a brease and it gave me more room and took away the feeling of it being to small of a space , also gets you away from the wall and plumbing , very good design , and very happy with shipping speed and quality
