Honestly solid copper is hard to come by, specially if you are a printmaker. I absolutely recommend this store, I buy a couple pieces each month for Intaglio etchings. They are usually packaged cleanly, with extra padding. All the copper sheets i’ve bought have had little to no scratching and don’t have any oil marks or discoloration. They are thick and easy to work with! Plus no warping so far. They react very well to the ferric acid, and i’ve had no problem etching these plates.

I do not know why the other review says that. You need to give this plate an extra 2-3 minutes than other foiling plates. It does work!

get for etching and good thickness. The only problem was they came bent, should be shipped in a box, not an envelope.

Exactly what it says, a 5x7 copper sheet of decent thickness. Using it to fill in a 5x7 photo window on a box. Certainly works fine for that.

This was just the proper thickness and size to use as a heatsink for an indoor electric smoker. It spreads the heat over a wider area and eliminates that 2" diameter burn spot on the food.

Printed amazingly! I used it for drypoint and the gauge might’ve been overkill for that technique, but I couldn’t be happier with the results. Took my rotarty tool like a champ, and I had zero issues working with the copper. Oxidizes far less than the roofing copper I normally work on.

Its a fine product..came clean, no bent edges. I wasn't thinking when i thought i could cut this easily. Its about as thick as a penny..maybe a little more. I have strong hands but a lot of cutting with snips required two hands.. otherwise good product

I used the copper to plate with cobalt salts and made this. They are very good quality of copper but a bit expensive.

I did not know what to expect. I am so happy. This copper arrived in great condition, I was impressed that it was the EXACT measurements I paid for. As you can see it worked perfectly for the Etching project it was bought for. A memorial plaque for a beloved pet. Thank you.
