Overall these are good quality levers that I installed in a new construction home that I built. However the screws sent in the package were zinc plated and did not match the satin nickel finish. I had to go to hardware store and buy stainless steel screws to match.

These were a great simple update to our "NEW" home. we had the tacky gold handles all throughout the house and we wanted to upgrade to a sleek oil rubbed bronze. The switch was easy and we ordered enough for hte whole house. Not a single issue. Also it was easy to change from left to right handle with the simple included tool. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who plans to sell their home as well as this is a simple elegant update that definitely adds value. They are heavy duty also no cheap stuff here! make sure you have your phillips screwdriver ready as this is the only tool you really need for this project. The unlocking mechanism for the bedroom doors we simply hid on top of the door frame just in case of an accidental lock.

I love the look and feel of this lever. My only caveat to that is it is a genuine hassle to switch-out the handles when they need to fit on a door that requires them to be switched. The "switch" involves inserting a pin or small screwdriver blade into a little hole. This is supposed to release the handle so you can place it on the opposite side, thus orienting it correctly for the door. Getting this little mechanism to release is an exercise in patience and fortitude. I ordered 6 of these handle sets and had do do this change-over on four of them, times two "releases" per handle set. It took a LOT longer than I anticipated to finesse these handles to come off for the change. Not a huge deal, but a definite hassle for an otherwise easy installation job. As for the end result, the handles look and work great and I'm very happy with the upgrade these represent over the tacky gold handles of a similar design that were on the doors when we bought our home. So, buy with confidence... and build in extra time to switch the handles should your door orientation require it. Oh, one more thing. The "locking" aspect of this handle can be over-ridden by a simple twist of even a fingernail on the outside of the door. In other words, instead of poking an object inside the outside handle, it had a little coin-like "key" indentation that one merely gives a simple 1/4 turn and it's unlocked. So, don't think of this as any kind of a secure locking mechanism. Kids in particular might find this rather amusing and frustrating. Say your daughter wants to get away from her kid brother and she locks herself in her room. That will not necessarily deter the lad once he learns how easy it is to simply twist the outside mechanism for entry. There you have it.

Good quality metal door levers that give the "updated" look to my house that I'm trying to get ready for sale.The price is about one-third less than what I saw at the big-box store which prompted me to go ahead and order these in bulk.Pet peeve is that the pictures here only show one side. It's not clear that this is a package that does indeed include two levers for both sides of the door (yes it does, it is a SET of two). Would be nice to show a picture of the other side's handle with the lock that you twist (and not push). Push buttons are better IMO but these twist kinds are OK, for this low price. As others have said, you can unlock from the outside with a coin. You may consider that a plus or a minus depending on your rooms uses.

Nice quality look and works well.

We replaced four interior door handles in our home. Three of the installs went smoothly. The fourth could not be completed because the handle was faulty. We contacted Amazon and another handle was sent out immediately and we were given a month to return the old handle. The new handle installed easily.

Dexter by Schlage privacy lever. This is a great lockset. I ordered 8 others of various configurations I.E. passage, privacy dummy, handles over a year ago. I decided to change the hardware in the finished basement this winter which necessitated this order. They have performed excellently. The finish has held up to daily use by all ages of occupants in the household. The mechanics are performing flawlessly to date. I am very pleased with the finish color and the ability to match to many other brands of antique bronze. I would definately recommend this product and supplier to friends and family.

I bought these to replace all the cheap handles in my manufactured home. The only problem I had was that my doors have a latch hole that is 7/8" and these (standard) latches require a 1" hole. I struggled with how to increase the size of the existing holes then through trial and error found that I could simply auger out the holes with a smaller wood bit. By taking my time and checking the fit periodically the end result was a perfect fit. Now we have quality handles that will last a lifetime.
