Finally! A company made yoga cards! π
I never write reviews, but these cards are going to be a life changer for me! π I'm so exited to have found yoga/stretching cards, rather than another book, poster, dvd or online yoga app. I have ADHD & get super Innatentive when doing yoga. I've bought yoga books before, but you can't customize your workout very easily with a book & I get distracted sifting through the pages. I've bought a poster with moves on it, but then it's too overstimulating seeing all of the pics on one big page. The struggle is real.I was recently diagnosed with Lupus & also Fibromyalgia & need to be able to modify my low impact movements to avoid further pain & injuries & these will do just that! These are so perfect & great quality too! π

Excellent for larger bodied beginners
I am so in love with these cards. I've had people recommend yoga to me so many times over the years and every time I tried, by following a video online, I would get so frustrated. I'm a larger bodied woman, so classes intimidate me and videos are often hard to follow and hard to tell if I'm in the right posture since my body isn't going to look the same as the people usually modeling the move. I'm pretty good at following directions so I thought if I had a visual to follow and do at my own pace maybe I'd do better. I was so right. The cards have very clear directions plus the visual example, and also include notes on the posture and modifications if what is shown is too difficult. You can follow one of their sequence cards or make up your own sequence, which is what I did. I chose cards that seemed easy as a beginner but that also addressed areas in my body where I need more stretching and to work on flexibility. I have fibromyalgia, a chronic pain and fatigue condition, but I'm able to go through a 30 minute sequence of about 20 cards and even after only a couple weeks of doing yoga 2-4 times each week I'm noticing a difference in my mental state. I now enjoy yoga and find myself wanting to do a session. There are so many cards in the deck that I'm not using that I know if I start to get tired of my current sequence it will be easy to mix it up. I also appreciated the extra cards that talk about breathing, stretching, and mediation. Really excellent if you're a beginner.

Great Quality
So excited to finally have these! I have had them on my wish list to buy for a while now & finally ordered them. I normally only practice in a classroom setting - hoping that by ordering these I can build a more solid at home yoga practice. I didn't even check to see what size they were (assuming they were the size of a normal deck of cards) when I got them I was excited to see the cards were a little larger and more of a plastic material instead of papery. I wouldn't necessarily need these to start practicing at home, however the prompts and visual reminders of different things I can do are nice. I like the different sequence cards that help you figure out what poses to put together. The cards that explain a little more are helpful (breathing, stretching etc.). These give the user a better idea how to get started once on the mat. A card is included that tells what every area on the pose card means/represents. Each explanation on the pose card is clear and easy to understand, the images are clear and easy to see, and the color coding is helpful. Overall these will be helpful, fun, and the quality is great! They also came in a sturdy little box.

Printing error on the card
Overall would have loved these, but there is an error on the warm-up sequence that others mentioned - so far I found the one error, but haven't looked through everything yet.The wild card concept is a bit cumbersome and the sequences could be improved; would be nice to have "bikram" pose sequences. The quality of the cards are very nice, but the the designs could use improvement. Not bad for the price, but that error is annoying.

As a beginner who has little time, I love these!
I love these cards! I've always struggled to stay with a routine by watching yoga videos since a lot of them are really long. I hate working out, but these help me when I have back pains and need to stretch for like 10 minutes a day. I love that the differing corners allow you to flip the card over and separate each routine you decide on. Also really like that it tells you the number of breaths to take and details out moderated poses for beginners. Quality of the cards is super nice.

I really like that these cards are semi-plastic
I really like that these cards are semi-plastic. They seem very durable, and contain a lot of information about archiving the desired pose in sequence. (ie headstand explains how to start, and how to move to achieve the fully extended headstand.) I like the extra cards that help you plan out your routine as well.
