Biopsychology (9th Edition)

This book has awesome illustrations. Not to mention its beautiful hardcover. At first I was debating whether to rent or buy this book, but I decided it would probably be cool to keep it. I definitely recommend this book even if it is not for a class. It was definitely really easy to read and very easy to understand. Biopsyc courses can be difficult, but this book really saved my grade. Overall I thought it was a good read and would recommend to anyone interested in both psychology and biology. The price I paid for this book was reasonable. Wayyyy better than the prices at my school’s bookstore. Thanks to this book I got a solid A. However my only problem with this book was that it was heavy and bulky to carry around in my backpack and they don’t offer a downloadable version of the textbook.Overall, don’t be that student that thinks that you don’t need a book to pass the class. TRUST ME it will help you.

Very informative. My book was used, but it is in great condition. My professor required this book for our class. We have not used it much, but I do see why he chose this later version.

Great book: engaging to read & informative with a relatable learning approach. Good study sections. Gets into your head- figuratively and literally. Really appreciated the thoughtful manner in which this book was written

this book is very good and interesting - perfect for my lecture. Professor had asked for the 10th edition, but I used this version and still got an A. He said the 9th edition is about 90-95% similar to the 10th edition, but the price is so much cheaper

Was in perfect condition when I received it! Many of the topics discussed in this course were dense and complicated but sections of this book made to easy to read about such topics. I relied heavily on this book and aced this course because of it.

This book helped me pass my course! I don't see a difference between the 9th edition and 10th edition.

I haven't rated a textbook before, but I liked this one enough to rate it. It was used for my undergrad Biopsych class. The format of the book is good and easily approachable. I actually enjoyed reading this textbook.

I read a lot of text books and it seems that they are a blur from one class to the next. I happened to LOVE this class, so I think this book is exceptional.

I would give this book five stars for the content but I should warn other customers who are paying extra for the access to mypsychlab. Pearson do not grant access to those who have bought a textbook bought from third party sellers such as amazon.I bought this book in the hope that getting an access code for Mypsychlab would help me with my revision. I went to the website with my Course ID and I didn't even have the option to enter my access code because the textbook does not appear on the book list. I had an hour long chat with a woman at the MyPsychLab website and she told me that the access code I have been given from buying this book is INVALID as I bought access from a third party seller. She later told me I'd have to physically walk into a book store and buy the textbook to get access, which is great if you have a lot of revision time left but when you are talking days until your exam it is extremely annoying to have paid extra for an invalid code.The upside of this is I have got an incredible book but I have wasted extra money to buy an access code that is invalid.

I wasn't entirely sure that it would come with the MyPsychLab subscription due to the fact that another reviewer said it wouldn't. Fortunately it did so I have it at the ready when I start my university course. Can't wait!!My only complaint however is that the whole thing feels like a 700 page magazine.
