Good quality notebook
Honestly, really 3.5 stars, not four, but since that's not an option...I do like Leuchtturn notebooks & I LOVE this size, which was impossible to find locally - and trust me, I spent a lot of time trying. I think they are overpriced. The paper is good, but not as high quality as you'd expect for this price. The binding is good, but again, not as high quality as you'd expect for the price. I do really like the dot grid - though my blind as a bat eyes would prefer the ink was a smidge darker, I can see it OK. I do like the two ribbon bookmarks and the elastic to close the notebook. Overall, the notebook is good, but there are other notebooks out there better quality (and more expensive) OR similar quality and sized notebooks for cheaper prices.

Not for on-the-go page flippers
I ordered this bullet journal to keep track of company vehicle odometers, daily to-do's, employee locations, and notes. We're busy. I just ordered a different brand after using this for a week. With that said, there are good things about it.Pros: Nice sturdy cover that could withstand spills and rips. Paper has a luxurious feel to it. Great size. Very flexible notebook (not sure if that is a pro or a con). The notebook may be falling apart from the inside, but the outside still looks brand new.Cons: Despite the sturdy front cover, it's a fairly fragile notebook. My bullet journal gets a lot of use, and pages are flipped through. It withstood about a week of flipping through with heavy use. The inside pages started tearing away from the spine from about the bottom two inches. It's just not going to make it if this is after a week of use.I didn't get this with the idea of art or markers in mind. The pages would be too thin for that.

A complete waste of money
Pages are too thin!!! my ink bleeds through and it's not like my pens give out a lot of ink...pencil even shows through!? not only does it bleed through the page, the page on top of it shows ur pen or pencil as well. Beyond frustrating

Ghosting in this notebook is truly terrible.
Very disappointed at the paper quality in this journal (Leuchttrum1917 softcover dotted), seeing as how it was over $20.You'll only be able to use half of the pages they list in the description because even lightly writing on a page with pencil ghosts through almost 2 pages--let alone the opposite side of the page.Initially this journal feels quality, but when you try to actually use it, it becomes clear that writing with anything more than a fine-tipped pen (e.g. a brush tip marker or sharpie) renders the opposing page virtually useless.

Only journal for me
So I bought this as less of a planner and more as a way to keep track of my studying in medical school, I list out the days in a week and then make checklists of the things I need to get accomplished study wise. I have a different planner to keep track of appointments and stuff, mostly to save time, but I think I might switch to bullet journaling because of this. It is amazing, it is flexible. I considered getting lined paper because I haven't done dots before, but I am so glad I decided on dots. It keeps it organized as well as lines would, but the paper looks less crowded, if that makes sense. I am considering buying another just for personal journaling, and I imagine that I'll keep using this brand until I die. It's just that good.

Lower quality than before
I used to really love Leuchtturn1917. I've had two great notebooks from them (one was this B5 in black), but I just got the same B5 in blue and the pages are thinner so my ink bleeds through too much now. Additionally, the font is different and the margins are now strangely wide at the top and bottom. I'm torn about this brand now. I love it, but am disappointed the quality is not consistent.

Thinnish paper, like the flexible cover
This is just as described, except for paper opacity. It is heavier than tracing paper, but even switching to pencil, the images shadow through to the other side. The notebook has a nice flexibility and feel to it. I did go to their website and order a pen holder, but the item costing a bit over $3 wound up closer to $15, with shipping and tax, a small stick-on card with an elastic loop. Sitll, it does the job. My enthusiasm is a bit dimmed, though

The paper is an absolute joke.
The pages within this notebook are like tissue paper. I am unbelievably disappointed with the quality, especially considering the ‘rave reviews’ and that I heard this brand offered a solid journal.I tried to continue using it, but gave up. The image attached shows the ghosting on the back of a page.AND TO BE CLEAR…I only write with the Pentel EnerGel 0.3 Needle Tip pen. This was not a Sharpie or marker.

Disappointing notebook for such an expensive price tag
I was recommended this notebook by a friend, I really wanted to like it but found it flimsy and would have expected more pages for the price. The A4 appears to be a much better version for not much more money, given the choice again, I'd have chosen that one I think.

No fountain pen leakage and perfect contents page system
Although expensive, these are are most wonderfully made notebooks ever created. Pages are thick enough that fountain pens don’t leak through and the number long and contents page system is faultless. Whether you’re note keeping, studying or bullet journaling , this is the perfect notebook. Thank

Superb quality
I always buy Leuchtturms as their paper is so buttery soft and I'm working my way through the colours. When I order these, I usually buy a Journal & Hide leather notebook cover to house it in which I totally love. I find these on Instagram and Facebook as you can personalise everything!

Nice size but really light dots
I love the B5 size of this bullet journal, and it's light weight. But the paper is actually quite thin and the dots are really very faint so I find it hard to write in, particularly when ink from the previous page is visible through the paper.

Settling on this one
A friend of mine saw my "Army" coloured notebook and was very intrigued, so I bought her one for Xmas, just in blue. That said, my dotted B5 has been a constant companion since mid-2016 and I use it as a very free-form bullet journal, to track projects, progress, schedule things and generally keep track of everything. After trying all kinds of systems, I think a freeform, Leuchtturm1917 based home-brew system works best, and these notebooks are the blank canvas I need to fit in everything.
