Love this light, it is attached to my drill press.
Great little light for my drill press, just having the garage ceiling light kind of sucks for using a drill press and this magnetic base light is a huge help, I couldn't have found a better light for this application, plus it gives me a small bench with an optional vise that has great lighting.

allows access to tight areas
I'm rebuilding a machine which is comprised of hard to see internal mechanisms.This magnetic base work lamp allows me to set up and work in otherwise "in the shadows" areas.

Strong magnetic base, bright light
I don't know what others were complaining about the magnetic base being weak. I have it sitting on the side of my rails on my lathe and it isn't coming off or sliding around. Sticker on the base is garbage and I don't like the plastic around the gooseneck but this doesn't hinder the function of the lamp.

Weak magnet
Pretty weak magnet, doesn’t hold the light very solid. Light was a bit too blue (guessing about 65k) for me but very bright

Magnet is a 10, light is adequately bright, reasonable price.

got this light for my new laguna band saw, great light a lot less expensive than the one from Laguna.

Does the job
It’s okay but like others have said the magnet will hold the light perfectly but if you want to adjust the light it’ll fall. so you’ll need both hands
