High quality plug
Needed a new plug for a 12 gauge outdoor extension cord. Since this cord will be out in the weather, I wanted to be certain the plug would resist the elements. After reading reviews of less expensive ($3.98 model from a big box store), I decided to purchase the Legrand-Pass & Seymour PS14W47CCV3 replacement plug. This plug is really well designed and made with high quality materials. You get what you pay for here. Installation was straight forward and easy. Hardest part of the job was removing the protective jacket from the extension cord to be able to strip back the wires. Highly recommend this product.

Make sure your pieces are all on in order before connecting wires? I did not the first time :}
This was used to replace a shorted out plug on a 10/3 extension cord that was caught up in melting snow ,then ice, then water. 21$ vs 150$, no brainer and now the plug is better than original. Super easy installation, I had to install it twice, only because i attached wires without the main piece. Thats all right, made a few adjustments the second time and worked out better. 10 minutes i had power in my garage again. Great product ! Now i just need the mating piece.DaveSuperior, Wi

works with 10 Ga stranded
My outer cable diameter was about 16 mm. I had to trim to no less than 14 mm to fit. The 10 Ga stranded conductors fit nicely into the clamps. Only product I found that worked with 10Ga conductors. Excellent product. See also the male version. (Amazon's screwed up -- the same review works for the male version, but I can't review separately.)

Saved a heavy duty cord
The ground broke off of our long heavy duty extension cord. This replacement repaired it as easy as one, two, three.

Very Nice Quality Outdoor Plug
I was looking for a waterproof plug to use on an outdoor fountain. I found this one and gave it a try. It is ver well made and seems durable. It comes with rubber or silicon sleeves to fit various cord sizes. Once installed, the sleeves offer a tight fit to the cord and is in fact water tight. It’s the only plug I could find that has such sleeves.

Lowest Price for an overpriced item.
There is not much to judge on this item. All components fit together well. It was an easy assembly. The only complaint I have is that it took 10 days from the order date to delivery, which I found to be excessive.

Nice plug, be aware of tool needed
Used this to make a cord to run out to my truck in the winter for plugging in the block heater. Very nice device, easy to install. Only minor complaint is that the 3 small screws in the device are actually meant to be tightened with a very small square drive, like a Robertson screw but smaller. A #2 Phillips screwdriver would *barely* work. Fortunately I had a bit in my toolbox that worked. Would buy again if needed for a weatherproof application.
