The Marriage and Family Experience: Intimate Relationships in a Changing Society

The seller did great, shipping was great, book was used and in ok to slightly rough condition. The contents of the book on the other hand is crap... I dubbed the name to "The marriage and the Feminist experience"... As a white male, this book basically says I'm the cause of all the world's problems, total garbage. Also, I understand that we don't want to offend anyone, and we need to give credit to those who've done the research that we're using/citing, but reading this book is horrible. You cannot read more then a couple sentences without breaking thought to read the citation of who wrote or researched the information... John Doe, 2013.... SO IRRITATING. This is an instructional book, put all the references in the back and throw up little numbers next to the quotes. Again, the seller did fine.

Basic Marriage and Family Development 101. If you want to know how a marriage works, delimas that may arise, and how to effectively communicate this is the book. I got it for a psychology class but if I would have read this book before getting married maybe I wouldn't have gotten married to the individual that I did. Sometimes I would rather read and learn than to experience and learn.

I rented this book for school and it was actually interesting. It had tons of information ranging from families and divorce, statistics, and more. Rented it for school and I actually enjoyed it. Great stuff to know and learn about especially if you are studying to be something in that field.

I took this class in the Spring of 2014 with a different edition of this book. I sold the book back not knowing that I'd need it again. To make a long story short this version is far better, and so is my class for the fall of 2014.

The material in the book covers the subject sufficiently and supports the corresponding class work. I was able to get the more recent addition which was very important.

This book was required reading for my son's online summer course. Your selection and service was great.

Book was for class. It was good, but too many stats IMO. Really enjoyed renting the book off Amazon instead of paying $200.
