Loved the book
Loved the book, Mike is super knowledgeable about the best practices for sales calls. He gives you real steps and ideas that you can easily take action on if you're willing to put the work in. I've never seen a sales book quite like this and really enjoyed the new approach on an issue that many of us have had while prospecting and closing deals/appointments. A must read if you want to improve your prospecting game or just want to try out some new approaches. Read the whole book the day I got it!On a side note, I also reached out to Mike with a question via email, and he quickly answered my email and gave me some added insight just to help me out. Mike is genuinely a good guy who is looking to give back to a young or even practiced salesman!

This book is a lifesaver if you're new to sales.
I moved from outside sales where most of my leads were inbound and I never had to make more than 30 calls in a week to get my appointments to SaaS. What they don't tell you is that the hardest part of sales is cold calling and appointments. This book helped me make quota (20 scheduled demos in a month that lead to a sale) my first full month on the job. This book is particularly good because instead of giving glittering generalities like "build value" or "qualify the customer" it tells you exactly what to say to make the sale to the next step. Even if you don't use Mike's scripts word-for-word (and he gives quite a few for each situation), he's good for at least getting you think about what to say. What's most interesting about this book is how Mike completely rejects the advice of most sales books about focusing on the presentation and close. The impression I got from this book is that 80% of the sale is done on the first qualifying call. This changed my view of how a sale is supposed to go, because it made me more confident about cleaning my pipeline rather than focusing on giving a great presentation or close. It freaked my manager out at first until I had a much higher close ratio (especially for a newbie) than my peers.

Designed for B2B more than B2C.
This book is very good. A lot of the mindset, and the approach stuff makes the book worthwhile for me. My only beef with it, is that most of the scripts in here are designed for B2B calling. Almost everything is getting past the gate keeper, talking about who their current supplier is, and so on. There’s not enough script material for consumer calling. I’d love to see a separate book come out for selling to individuals, not businesses. Since I sell entirely to individuals, I didn’t really get a lot out of the scripts. I tried tailoring them to what I do in my business, but I’m not a professional, and I was hoping that I would get professional advice from this book. The book itself is definitely worthwhile, but if you’re contacting consumers directly, you might have a bit of an issue with it like I do.

MEMORY TIPS from the Author
I emailed the author Mike Brooks because I sought his best MEMORIZATION technique. He responded promptly to suggest:"The best way to memorize scripts is to:1) Record three versions of the scripts into your cell phone recorder. 2) Try different inflections, etc., and then pick the one you like the best. Erase the other two.3) Make a commitment to list to that (or those--since I recommend breaking them up into sections or groups of two rebuttals per recording), at least 50 times!"I shared my own memorization story:As a concert pianist between 6 - 10 years old I memorized 289 pages of sheet music by moving a row of Ten Pennies back and forth upon each repetition.I cannot THANK the author Mike Brooks enough. He's a giant in the industry yet was willing to help me with guidance and clarity. May Heaven hold a special place for him !!!

Attention all businesses! This is Book is Phenomenal!!! Sales Dramatically Improved for Us!!
I've bought this book for my Call Center to make sales calls, I've used it for myself at first and wanted to test it before I implemented anything to the department. During the calls, I came to situations where I used to think that I lost the sale, because of responses that I was used to earlier. Then using the specific techniques and responses in this book, I've not only turned them around to become my client I even got referrals!!!A TRUE GEM!! I want to thank you, Mike Brooks, for giving us your invaluable expertise and genius in this amazing book!!

Great read for adding structure to the sales cycle and qualifying your prospects
Before reading this book, I was not qualifying my prospects, adding value to my products, and was unsure on how to structure my sales process on how to succeed. From creating your pitch and deeply qualifying your prospects and finding the true pain point when they do object, Mike equips you with the tools that you need. I must say the qualifying questions are what has been the most powerful because I can have a full understanding of my prospect and make sure they make it to the end goal of making the sale !

Packed with great insights
It is as good as the readers' comments describe it and as the author advertises it. Common sense scripts to tackle 80% of the mechanical sales objections, that should be tailored to your own needs and practiced so you can focus on sell the stuff while talking. The only part I found light was about value selling.I was impressed both by the scripts, which is why I bought the book, and by the healthy approach to life the author has in narrating the book. I had been searching roughly 100 hours on internet about cold calls best practices before stumbling on this author and quickly understood that's the knowledge I was looking for; the purchase didn't disappoint.

The most practical book
Remember the books that give you big principles but at the end of it you still don't know what to do ?Well this one is the opposite. It's all about how and what with so many examples that you understand the philosophy and are able to adapt the scripts to your personality and business.I am barely halfway through it and Mike Brooks' advices have already have a significant impact on my results.
