My wife and i aren't the most afluent people in the world but we were blessed with the miracle of childbirth....pregnancy is tough on the one having it and likewise on the partner sharing it and there were times my wife was bedridden as a result...i simply wanted my wife to be able to "page" me at a moment's notice if she needs anything or i happen to be too loud for comfort in the other room of our 1 bedroom apartment.so a two way wireless intercom was for us,the way to go; in the moment's notice she could press a button and tell me exactly what she needs and provided i am watching a movie in the other room,she can even call to get my attension first and then we could discuss things from the intercom.that being said this intercom isn't the best out there and a look at its price and makecan indicate that right away: hosmart has many higher tier models that can suit you better if you live in a multi story building with multiple rooms in mind...so if your complaining about sound quality or range: just go for the more expensive model this time and it would solve those problems right awaybut for a struggling family that just needs a way to communicate between two adjectent rooms,this thing does the job and is thus worth the purchase

Is work well when we need to call around the building

I bought this to keep in touch with the house when I'm in my workshop at the end of the garden, about 100ft away. It works like PTT ( press to talk) so more like using a two way radio. It's fairly clear and so far no issues with interference. It's mains powered so you can leave it on all the time.It solves my problem of knowing when it's dinner time, so works for me.

Installed in my garage to communicate with the house which is 50yards away. Easy to install and great sound. Only down side is you have to wait for the other person to Finnish talking before you can answer, no two way conversation but not a problem

While the intercom system provided a clear channel of communication across different rooms, I did notice a slight delay occasionally. The anti-interference feature worked well most of the time, keeping the communication smooth. Power bank support offered a helpful backup during power outages.

This is a great 2-way intercom system. It's very simple to use, has clear sound and doesn't lose connection. We like how it works independently and doesn't need to be connected to the Wi-Fi. Happy and recommended to others.

It was really easy to set this system up. Just remenber hold the 'talk' button down while talking and to stop holding it when others talk! It stops us from yelling across the house at each other! I put one in each of our rooms, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. We're using it for communication throughout the house. It's working out quite nicely.

My brother is disabled, he can still function most of the time and wants to keep his independence, he is in an inlaw suite on our property probably 200 feet from my bedroom, this intercom has good range, it has an emergency call button as well as a talk feature, the sound is a little fuzzy sometimes, but it's super easy to use and allows him his own independence and privacy

The media could not be loaded.  This is the first intercom I bought on Amazon. The quality is really beyond my imagination. I can't imagine that such a low price can buy such a cost-effective product.I put one in the living room and another in my daughter's bedroom, they work very well, no static, no noise, the sound quality is very crisp, and this intercom is very small and very cute, I can also use it for monitoring at night My daughter, I'm watching TV in the living room, my daughter wants to call me in the bedroom, we can all talk to each other

This works extremely well as a monitor.Our dog whimpers when she needs to go out and this hears her two rooms away from the monitor.We tried various other monitors until we found this one.
