No smell for this toner. This is very watery and made my skin feel tight in a bad way. I have very dry skin, and this does not work for me. I have a feeling this type of toner is designed for a different skin type. The top causes too much or too little to come out, since it's watery. A pump may have been a better idea.

This is one of those K-Beauty products with a high concentration of just one ingredient. If you're looking for an effective fermented toner and aren't interested in added hyaluronic acid or niacinamide or any of the other myriad actives they throw into everything these days, then this product is for you. It's 99% galactomyces ferment filtrate (aka Pitera, as patented by SK-II). It's a completely odorless liquid that is just slightly thicker than water. It absorbs well but leaves an ever so slight tack to the skin.According to a number of YouTube beauty influencers, galactomyces helps up the efficacy of Vitamin C in brightening the skin, so I've been using this in the evening layered under the CosRX Vitamin C. While I can't say I notice significant diminishment of my dark patches, it has resulted in a general overall improvement in my skin's tone and texture. I like this about as much as my two favorite fermented essences - Missha Time Revolution and Son Reve.

I have combination skin, and it can be very acne prone. This has been really helpful using once or twice a day. I am really investing in my skin, and I like to exfoliate at least once a day and really well before I apply this. I noticed some days this makes my face feel a little more oily than others. It all depends on what I'm eating that day or the weather on what my skin is going to be like. I just cut one of my cotton pads in half and use half a pad it doesn't seem to be as oily. But it's not exactly a true oily feeling, it's just a little more dewy, I would say that's if I used more of this product vs just a little. My skin looks amazing by adding this and it's definitely helping with breakouts as I don't have any when I normally have a few. This is something I'll definitely keep up.

Great toner. Galactomyces are supposed to decrease sebum production, refine pores, and strengthen skin. They're supposed to be able to lighten dark spots.I have several products with galactomyces. I do think my skin looks a little better when using these products, but I've been trying many different products. Still, the products do seem to work on sebum production. My skin used to be very shiny after just an hour or so. It seems to be less shiny for hours now.Recommended.
