Easy Install and great GFCI replacement!!
Great product and replacement for GFCI outlet. I had zero issues installing it. It took me longer to put the GFCI sticker on the cover plate straight than to install it. Once installed and breaker switch is turned back on, just hit reset button on the outlet and boom your done. As you are putting the outlet back in place the wires will push and pull making the screws that lock them down loose. Just double check those before screwing the outlet down and putting on the cover plate.

Decent Outlets - Painful Install (see review)
I purchased these to replace non-GFCI outlets in my kitchen during a remodel. These are less than half the price of the ones at big box stores. I put 2 of them in using 12/2 romex. Here's how that went: I have a home built in roughly 1890 and as you can guess it has lath walls. The electric service has been updated, of course, to 240. During the remodel, I looked at every outlet in the kitchen and decided to place a few more in better spots for the new cabinets and counter. The circuit that I had on one wall was 20 amps, so I wanted these as outlets above the counter. With the lath wall, it was a ridiculous effort to cut new holes for the outlet boxes. But it was managed. I put in smaller boxes so as to not cut super big holes in the wall. Installing these in small boxes is a major challenge. All GFCI outlets are fairly big in the back, and these are on the larger end of that scale. I chose to use the back channels to put the wiring in, because I tried bending J-hooks in the romex to fit on the side screws, but that was almost impossible when using 12/2. I am sure it's actually possible, but I tried, and it was very frustrating. The side screws are recessed and even backed out all the way, it's very difficult to get the wire under the screw. Anyone who has replaced an outlet with a short amount of wire coming out of the box will know this frustration. I left over 6 inches, but had to cut them back because there wasn't enough space inside the box for the outlet and the wiring (I ran the outlet in the front of the circuit so I needed both line and load - which meant two sets of wires coming into the box). I managed to get them in using the back install method, but it was cramped and took a while of manuvering the wires. I suppose that with a large enough outlet box, it would be super easy.Overall, they seem to work nicely, and with proper space, should be a fairly easy install. They are big, so keep that in mind when planning the fit. One star docked because the side screw spots are difficult to fit 12/2 into.

solid value for the quantity
These are pretty costly these days at the big box stores. Very happy with the price to quantity ratio of this purchase. The units look and feel nice. Install easy. Test and trip well. Using them in a whole house remodel in my kitchen and bath areas. Happy with them.

Amazing price for GFCI’s!
Working in Property Management, GFCI’s have been a hot topic to replace, especially now that being “grandfathered in” is not something that works with the inspectors. We had a few big inspections where we needed GFCI’s and even going to big box stores was pretty spendy. These worked really well for our inspections, especially when we needed to replace so many in the apartment building! The quality of the GFCI’s feel just like the ones you would buy anywhere else. Easy to install if you know electrical, just make sure to test after it’s done and it’s wired correctly and it TRIPS like it should! Some could be faulty just like if you got it anywhere else!

Poor quality, screws too short and loose parts
The media could not be loaded. Bought because it was $5 cheaper than hardware store and save myself the 20 minute drive. I received it next day as promised. Went to unscrew the line screws (they come tightened down) because I don’t use the push in. It took most of my strength to unscrew them (185lb 35yo male). When I finally did, they fell out after only a few turns. I noticed the screws were very short compared to standard outlet but was still able to screw them back in try to make it work until..,I tried to unscrew the neutral. It was also very difficult to unscrew. When I got it, it fell out quickly and it too was extremely short. However, with this one, I was not able to screw it back in. The plate that it screws into was rattling around and the screw wasn’t long enough to go back into it. So I’m returning it. I have no idea how this thing got so many stars and reviews (I guess everyone uses the push-in method to attach the wires??). Also, I’ve owned multiple home me and have been installing theses for years. One last thing to note: the writing on the back is upside down compared to how it should be attached the wall. If you were reading the back and then flipped it horizontally (twist your wrist left or right), the third hole would be on top). Not a big deal but something to note.

GFI saves lives.
Ground Fault Interrupts are a must for safety in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, laundry rooms, basements, and outdoor areas or any areas where exposure to water or electric shock is likely. If you shop on Amazon you can buy them for as low as $7 each! No excuse not to be safe! Green indicator light shows circuit is safe.
