An excellent book for your culturally diversified project team
This is an excellent book! It is loaded with many practical examples and approved toolkits from the real business world. If you’re currently facing the challenges to lead or work in a geographically remote and culturally diversified team, or if you would like to better comprehend the behaviors and motives from different cultures and turn our differences into a competitive advantage for your team, then you should not miss this one!I really enjoyed the reading! The book is also thought-provoking. The toolkits and case studies are closely related to our daily business operations, and give me a new perspective about the deep root causes of team problems as well as business issues with our internal/external clients and vendors.Never thought that before, culturally determined attitudes, beliefs and behavior will have such a great impact on our business success and the key to working successfully across cultures is not so much about understanding others but about understanding yourselves.A quote from the book – “we don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are!”A must-have book for your diversified project team!

A comprehensive collection or intercultural tools & methods
We have just finished one of my free East-West Leadership webinars where I invited Robert to present this book. He created a great collections of intercultural tools and methods he used in his management, HR and consulting positions, and illustrated their applications with cases and stories.

Excellent book! To thrive in this globalised world, intercultural competence is a great asset.
This is an excellent book. It is very practical and yet very enjoyable to read. It has many interesting examples, very instructive exercises and up-to-date cases. To thrive in this globalised world, intercultural competence is a great asset. How important it is to be more skilled to work across cultures! Even people of your area have multiple cultural identities, not just the national culture.I have lived and worked in China for 12 years as a psychologist. I have worked not only with Chinese from all its 23 provinces and Chinese living abroad, but with expats from dozens of countries. I can definitely say the author knows very well what he writes about. This book has sharpened my awareness of cultural differences and it has given me great ideas to work more effectively with my international clients and my organisers.

A must read book for 21st centrury cross-cultural workplace
This book goes totally beyond the cultural stereotypes! While most of the cultural learning books heavily focus on the analysis of how and why the cultural differences are, this book provides more insights and practical advice to guide readers to see a whole new world of diversity. It is easy and fun to read and to understand each cultural issue without basic knowledge, yet it contains so much wisdom and inspiration for problem solving and synergy creation in any intercultural environment.
