I am still in my first year as an insurance advisor. As most people in this business knows, there are highs and lows. But the lows are brutal. During one of my lows I picked up this book and digested it. It was just what I needed to get back out there and keep making appointments.

Invest the time to read this book = investment in your business. This is the 3rd book I've read by Burke Hedges. Highly recommend.

poorly written but strongest/easiest self improvement book ever....nothing mystical, no deep thinking required

The book is a good read, and provides some focus and inspiration. Identifying principles to live by, Hedges - a noted author and speaker - makes the reader self assess and evaluate motivations and opportunities using a mix of traditional wisdom and storytelling. A quick and easy read on how best to motivate yourself - at any age - to achieve more and view yourself as the CEO of your life.
