Recently I was in a home where my friends were using a bamboo cutting board. It looked great. No splits or surface degradation. Being a woodworker, I am tired of traditional mass marketed maple cutting board splitting, cupping and bowing. Bamboo being a grass , I believe, will have resistance to failing in these ways. I compared prices and features and feel this specific cutting board is an outstanding value. Juice grooves are a must and here they are. What a terrific inexpensive gift. I couldn't be happier. JTAdditionally; I eliminated the non-slip feet. I can use both sides now and prefer the non-grooved face. 7 months now and I'm very happy. It gets used daily with no product short comings.

I have had this for less than 1 month and while it is an excellent cutting board, the small non-slip “feet” glued to the bottom have fallen off quickly (3 of 4 so far). It has only been washed by hand, never in the dishwasher.

Great bamboo texture with really good nonslip grips that leaves the board very stable. In addition, the groves are very helpful to avoid liquids from spreading on your counter top. All and all, I would recommend buying this board even though one of the nonslip grips missing but their customer service is top notch and they managed the situation with flying colors.

Board fell apart (lighter bamboo at the end of the board fell off) as soon as the outer plastic was removed. This left a strong unpleasant smell of glue. Board is being processed for a return currently.

I bought for a gift, not giving for another month. It looks beautiful, feels sturdy and strong. Shipping was fast, competitively priced. Will update after Christmas if less than 5 stars are appropriate.

Very pleased with the cutting board. I will be using it on Thanksgiving. The company has great customer service. I will keep them in mind when purchasing other products.

Update:I was immediately contacted by this company and they will be sending a replacement. They obviously read reviews and take their reputation seriously......Seems to be well made. Not glued strips like other boards have. My only issue is the non-slip feet. They were already gone when delivered. Looks like they are just stick-on rubber that will fall off if not already off when delivered.

an extremely well-made cutting board, nice weight, good finish - choose it because of the groove for things that are messy - would definitely buy this one again
