You can view footage live on any smartphone or PC when the camera is hooked up to a router. With password protection, many different users can operate the software and you can record in different modes including continuous, power-up, scheduled and motion detection mode. When in the last mode, recording will only happen when motion is detected. You will also get images uploaded through an FTP file and also get email alerts when motion is detected as well. All video recordings will have a date and time stamp so you can easily find recordings when you need.
