This is a flexible ruler with a straight side on one end and a curved side on the other. It's a great tool for skirt and sress alterations- use the straight side to take up the hem, and the curved side to take in the waist or the lower portion to create a fitted pencil skirt. Use it with tailor (aka fabric) chalk to draw lines on the fabric then sew them.

Save the trouble of using a triangular ruler, and one ruler can be used for multiple purposes. Very good.

The plastic this is made out of is a bit thin and wobbly but it hasn't broken on me yet. The measurements are in centimeters, so keep this in mind if you buy it. Otherwise, it's great for arm holes and curves when drafting patterns for clothing.

Great for sewing projects

This is exactly what I needed for my patterncutting. It works quickly and easily when drawing the curved lines needed for armholes, necklines and waistlines. The best money I have spent on a patterncutting tool.
