I received this mat April 16, 2018, and it served well. I thought I had finally found a mat that would last for at least five or six years. Then, on May 26, 2020 a crack appeared in the center of the mat. The next day I reported this to the manufacturer and received a prompt reply. Then they discovered that it was two years and ten days since I bought it, so they said that the two-year warranty was no longer in effect--which is technically true. However, I am disappointed because the mat lasted only ten days longer than the warranty covered. It was good while it lasted, and I think it should have lasted longer than ten days past the two-year warranty.

The main reason I bought this product was it said "shipped flat". I have back issues and that was important.I did try to use it, but I was totally unable to unroll it. I doubt I could have done it even without the back issues. It would take two people and I cannot imagine how one could get it to lay flat.It also has a strong odor. It seems thick enough but that is part of the problem.They did offer me a refund (with a restocking fee) if I sent it back. Due to Covid I am unable to go to the post office so I could not return the product.So I am out the money and cannot use the product.

This mat is suppose to be used on a carpeted floor. The cleats are very effective.BUT: it is made out of a thin FLEXIBLE plastic that my chair wheels just sank through the mat and got stuck. And trying to roll around on it is like trying to roll around on a wadded-up bath towel.However I did not return the mat. I intend to go to the hardware store and to buy a half sheet of 1/4" of "hardboard.". I will cut the shape of the mat to match the plastic mat. I will then contact cement the two pieces together. A hybrid mat! The cleats will hold the mat in place and the hardboard will give me a smooth surface to roll around on. Wish me luck. Would I buy this mat again? No way.

This mat came in a large box & was flat so no curling or other issues. There was no set-up time needed - I merely added it to my home office space and it fit perfectly. We even had a few inches of water in the basement office and the mat is still in perfect condition. I’ve put the mat in my son’s room until mine gets redone from the flood. I’d definitely recommend this mat - my home office wasn’t a huge space (12x12) and it fit, no bulk & no curling. Can’t wait to use it again.

I ordered 2 Office Chair Mats for my two desks. They are wonderful. The ones I had were not as clear as these mats. These mats are very clear and show my carpet. They came in a flat box which made it easy to put down, the mats were perfectly flat on my rug. My chairs were able to slide back and forth on these mats with no problem at all. I have owned other mats but by far these are the best mats. Very satisfied with this product. I highly recommend these mats.

Product came tightly rolled up with strong vinyl plastic smell. Tongue of mat never did fully lay flat. Lightweight or short 'cleats" allowed mat to travel towards wall where tongue buckled even more. If I only could give a half star rating (or less) I would.

The mat I received did not match the description. (1) The mat does not have beveled edges. (2) The mat is PVC rather than heavy duty polycarbonate plastic. (3) The mat did not ship flat, so it had to be unrolled and flattened. (4) This is a Dimex mat, not the premium brand advertised. (4) Definitely not heavy duty. I am very unhappy with the mat I received. Returned this item.

Had for several months now. I wish I never bought this terrible product. The chair wheels sink into the mat and you have to get out of the dimples by forcing the chair with your body. Do not buy this product.
