Best maternity compression leggings
These are the best maternity compression leggings I have found. I bought a pair before I became pregnant and another pair about halfway through. I am 38 weeks now with an 8 or 9 pound baby and they still fit well and are great!

Caused pain
I am 12 weeks pregnant with my third child (already showing a little bit, but not super obvious). I am 5’ 1” and 145 lbs. I bought a Large. When I tried them on they were very difficult to get on—it was very much like struggling with pantyhose. That was annoying, but I could have loved with it. I could see how they would stretch very nicely as I grew and I liked that they were tight everywhere but my belly. They looked good, and they were not too long like some reviews mentioned, even though I am short. They were tighter than expected at the ankles. They passed my squat test and were not see-through. They did slip down often and required constant adjusting, but that could be because I don’t have a very large belly yet to keep them up. I was considering returning them for these minor inconveniences. However, less than an hour after putting them on, I started to feel some minor discomfort and needed to lay down for a bit. Then I got up and made a quick lunch for my kiddos, and by the time we were done eating I could not bear being up and about. My stomach was very uncomfortable and my back was killing me. I have not had these issues in the last couple of months, and the only thing that was new was the leggings. As soon as I took them off I felt a little bit of relief. I am laying in bed now (right after this happened) and my back still hurts mildly. These leggings are definitely being returned ASAP.

Way too tight at ankle cuff; not pants; returned
I’m 5’4” 120 lbs and went with the size small. Overall these fit me but the inseam was slightly too short, but the ankle cuff was so tight I couldn’t get them up all the way. The cuff has very little stretch and will give your ankle a muffin top if you have any fat whatsoever on your ankles. I didn’t feel like these were tight enough on my legs to be considered medical grade compression, they felt about as tight as other athletic leggings. I don’t think these are see through but the fabric feels as delicate as pantyhose to me, pulling them up takes work and I felt like my nails were going to make a run in them. Finally, I would not wear these as pants because the crotch has that same diamond shaped thing that pantyhose have, and it would definitely be visible if you bent over. Returned.

Leggings are true to size but not the biker shorts!
I wasn’t too sure which size would fit me best, Large or X-LARGE, so I bought both sizes in both leggings & biker shorts. The Large in leggings fit perfect, although I do have to pull them up from my legs/thighs once in a while… but besides that they are great! They are not ser through ay all! Super comfy! On the other hand with the biker shorts, the X-Large fit me best! The Large fit tight from top to bottom!!!If you buy the biker shorts, SIZE UP!!! If you buy the leggings, they are true to size!I will be recommending these to my other pregnant buddies 🥰.I am 5”0, 180 Lbs for reference.

Best affordable compression style leggings - TRUE TO SIZE
I want to start off by saying I ordered these in a medium to begin with when I usually wear a small when not pregnant. I’m 5’9 and have a more athletic build. I always wear a small in leggings because mediums give me saggy crotch and I despise that feeling. I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and when I first read reviews for these I was worried about people saying they were too tight so I sized up when I ordered. Mistakes were made. The medium fits great while sitting or standing but the crotch would sag badly when I would walk or move around so I was constantly pulling at them. So I ordered a small (my usual legging size) and HOLY GRAIL! It seems like a lot of people miss the full description of the title of these. They are compression leggings meaning they are meant to be tight and compress, they are not meant to be some buttery soft, Lululemon type dupe. That’s why I love them. The material doesn’t collect dog hair, fuzz and dust and they are very easy to clean and wear. I’ve had awful round ligament pain and thigh pain while pregnant but not while I wear these. The compression style truly does it’s job and helps to hold things tightly in place. I will probably order a few more pairs just to always have them ready while pregnant. I didn’t return the mediums either. Going to keep them just in case I need them in my final weeks! Lastly I purchased 7 different “maternity” leggings on Amazon as well as a sized up pair of Lululemon Aligns so I could have multiple brands to try on at once and then return. They all went back, yes even the Lulus, EXCEPT these leggings. I ordered more.

If you want tights instead, get these
If you want to buy thick pregnancy tights, then this is for you. If you want leggings, ie, actual pants that don’t look like you’re wearing opaque, footless, tights, then search elsewhere. Leggings should feel like a cotton or polyester blend with stretch and thickness to them like jeggings almost. These tights are no such thing. In fact, they’re more uncomfortable than regular tights that compress your toes. The only good thing I can say about them is that they are comfortable around my ever expanding belly. Everything else about them is rubbish. From the super tight ankle elastic that leaves marks on my legs and makes my feet swell a bit, to the ever loosening belly elastic that starts to fall down making me need to pull up my tights every five minutes (I now just tuck the waistband under my sports bra since I only wear these to workout and that keeps them from falling), to the super long torso of these pants meaning that I can’t let them lay below my ankle and that I have to ride them all the way up in order to walk properly (sometimes if leggings are really long I wear them under my heel). One other possible pro is that they could probably work as swimwear since they’re not actually pants to begin with. I honestly wish I could burn them but they do serve a purpose as my only pregnancy workout leggings (workout tights). For reference, I am 5’2” and my current weight is 178. My pre pregnancy weight was 135 and I usually wear a M-L (8-10) in most clothes. I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and have been using these pants since I was 20 weeks.
