Fun and easy to ride! But broken after 3 months with no accident.
[updated again] by replacing the battery the problem is fixed! Although it's quite hard to disassembly this thing, I really enjoy watching the internal structure of it and I think it's very well designed. So I changed the rating back to 5 stars :)[updated] After 3 months of riding it to commute, it suddenly won't turn on. Amazon doesn't provide the warranty so I have to reach out to the InMotion service team. I submitted the form but did not receive any feedback after one day. It’s very enjoyable to ride on this EUC, and it has great design of the turnoff button under the handle. One suggestion though, is to offer a bundle with the handle because it’s still pretty heavy to lift on one hand. However, when I search for the handle, the delivery time is a month later which is really an annoy.

Very difficult to learn, but very rewarding
I’ve been seeing these electric unicycles for a few months now, and I finally decided to get this one because most sources say that this is a solid option when first learning how to ride.As soon as I got it out the box and charged to a comfortable percentage (it’s halfway charged out the box), I started trying to ride it with some walls to hold onto, and immediately realized that this isn’t nearly as easy to learn as a hoverboard lol. Lots of balancing techniques go into riding this thing, so you really gotta mess with it for a while before you get it. For me it was by day 3-4 that I was riding this thing close to top speed around the parking lot of my apartment complex. By then, it already felt very intuitive to use. You’re going to feel some pressure pains in your calves when you start, and that’s very normal. By the time you get to where you can ride it wherever you want, you won’t feel that same pressure anymore at all. My advice is to also get some power pads at the same time as you buy this wheel (or any other EUC for that matter). These will offer some cushion for your ankles, as well as make it easier for you to accelerate/brake when you’re riding.!!!Get some protection as well!! Elbow pads, knee pads, wrist guards, helmet! The last thing you want is to seriously hurt yourself while learning how to use your new toy.Lastly, you’d be a fool to think you can go into this and not at least fall a couple times. You’re 100% going to fall during the learning process, that’s just inevitable. Part of the falling means your wheel may get scratched up, but it’s tough-it can take the falls and the scrapes. So when you lose your balance don’t worry about grabbing the wheel to keep it from getting damaged - just get off and do your best to land on your feet. If you are worried about scratching up your wheel, you can buy a cover for it. I personally am not worried though. All told, this is a new favorite toy of mine. Hope to get to use it more soon/upgrade to faster/ longer range wheels in the future.

Good for beginner
I have a larger ecu but it's really hard to start with. This cheap simple euc is much simpler to practice on.

Died after 1 week. No response what so ever from Manufaturer
I purchased this InMotion V5F unicycle through Amazon and used it for just one week before it failed to turn on again after charging. Despite creating two separate service request tickets on the manufacturer's website, I did not receive a single response. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable and has left me extremely dissatisfied with both the product and the company behind it. I am unable to return it through Amazon because I bought it for my son for Christmas and did not even open the box until May.(We live in Buffalo) so the return window had passed. Out $700.00 with no recourse.I strongly advise against purchasing any products from this manufacturer until they demonstrate a commitment to better customer support.

Great starter
Love this wheel, but.... OK, so I got used to it fairly quick, and was riding it within a week... but now its just a bit slow for me, seems like a toy now, I did buy a V11, and I use this one for when i go to the boardwalk where a lot of people are... but its great, silent and fun to ride... Great for those just looking to learn.. but you will want to go a little faster once you learn.. But I still give it a lot of stars because its sturdy, works well and super duper fun to ride!!! try it you will love it!!!
