Great new company that has some good products
Great new company that has some good products. This is the entry level version that packs a lot of bang for it's buck. Overall this is a great heatsink and very comparable to the cooler master 212. Having installed both products I will say that this was easier than the 212 to install (just barely) but I did have to spend a couple of more dollars to purchase it. This product only gets a few degrees cooler than the cooler master meaning that if the cooler master is on sale you should get probably get it. I don't ever see my temps get higher than 65 C while gaming and idles around 28 at normal room temperatures. I have a I7 4770K (not overclocked) which is notorious for high temps so I think these readings are great. I will admit, however, that I don't constantly monitor it so it does likely get hotter than that. Would definitely purchase again when I build another computer regardless of other prices due to personal preference.

RAIJINTEK AIDOS - Great small cheap cooling tower
I purchased this for $20 shipped. The base was not polished but appears to be flat if a little rough (that is what the TIM is for I guess). I'm using an old tube of arctic silver 2 applied in a very thin layer. The fan at 2200 rpm is very audible but I don't plan on running the processor full load 24/7. It is very quiet at idle and normal usage. On another review it was stated that fan clips were not included but mine came with fan clips and the little rubber things so I used them both. So far with a couple of hours using torture test #2 on prime95 my I5-3475S appears to be running 50-55 in a cool winter basement. This is cooler and quieter than the stock HSF so I'm happy with the performance. The mounting caused issues however. My ASRock H67M-ITX/HT has a chip right where the baseplate wanted to lay on the motherboard. As the stock Intel HSF didn't use a baseplate I assumed it was unnecessary and dug through an old back of spare parts and located some nylon/plastic washers to use instead. As not everyone will have a small parts bag you may want to check the backside of your motherboard before ordering.

Perfect for Vega 56 using Noctua NF-P 12 PWM redux fans
Used on my Vega 56 with Vega 64 bios. Run 2 Noctua NF-P 12 redux fans at 1400rpm on the cooler and the card is not audible inside my Corsair 400q case. The reference blower fan was loud even at stock 2400rpm. Cools even better than the reference cooler with the fan maxed at 4900rpm which was really loud. At 240-250w I get 1575mhz at 63c on the core, 1100mhz at 68c on the HBM, and VRMs are 82c. This was with card maxed for 1 hour playing witcher 3. I have only had the card together for 1 day but am pleased with the results over the reference cooler with more to gain after more tweaking.Stock with vega 56 bios superposition 1080p extreme score was 3600. Vega 64 bios above clocks with Morpheus 2 and fans 4650. No hbcc. Those are as good if not better than most of the overclocked Vega 64 scores I have found with no noise! It requires a little messaging here and there on the Vega card for installation but the effort is well worth it.Perfect for Vega users.

MORPHEUS II
This things a BEAST! Installed on my reference blower vega 56 and it went from 75c and almost 110c hotspot barely holding 1300mhz to 1650mhz core and 925mhz HBM at 56c and 85c hotspot while being whisper quiet! (I have unmolded die) I didn't use any of the included heatsinks, I made some cuts to use my front plate/back plate.Side note: A few fins were pretty bent but returning it would have been too much of a hassle.

it's 10 minutes of work to maybe get it working
First I needed this for lga 1366, the plastic screws they pop up, you had to bend the plastic backplate, lucky them I used it for Lga 2011 otherwise I would have returned all 5 I bought for my business. They expect you to build it literally. even the fan was not installed for god's sake. I usually buy intel fans snap on it takes me 30 seconds to install it. this one count on 10 minutes of work and frustration especially with the black plastic pieces that pop and do not hold the screw. Very bad design change the plastic pieces to metal. The only pro is you can use it for a variety of intel and amd besides that. I never leave any bad reviews but this one got to me.

Could have been better...
Performance wise, I'm happy with this cooler. When my girlfriend wanted to play the Sims on my old computer, I said sure, it can handle it! The game ran fine, but when I checked the temps out of curiosity, I got a little surprise! My 6 year old Athlon X4 was reaching over 100 degrees C durring stress tests and was floating between 89 and 93C while playing the game... just a bit too hot for comfort. This cooler dropped my stress test temps to 90 max, and around 80 during game play.Didn't want to spend much on an older computer, so this was perfect as far as value, but there were a few issues.First off, it came out of the box with several bent fins... not just a little bend to 'em either; they were almost kinked on the bottom of one side. I decided it wasn't a huge deal to me since I was installing it on such an old CPU, but I probably would have returned it if I was using it on my new rig. The box says it would work with a few newer AMD and Intel socket types, so buyer beware if you care about things like that.Second, I would have liked it to install with the fan pointing toward the back of the case, vertically instead of pointing toward the top (horizontally.) The heat pipes don't raise the radiator enough to clear my ram in the first slot, so I had to move my RAM to the outside slots. Seems like the whole thing would have had better clearance if it mounted vertical instead, like most other coolers I've seen. Again, this issue wasn't a deal breaker for me because it's an old computer that will only get minimal use, and my motherboard didn't mind the RAM being in the A2/B2 instead of A1/B1 slots. If you have 4 sticks of ram or your motherboard wants two in A1/B1, you might have issues here.Final issue came when I went to install the fan. My hardware kit was missing the fan clips... luckily, the rubber isolators kinda work to hold the fan in place without the clips, and it hasn't been an issue for me so far. Fan seems quiet enough, and is a PCM fan at least.Overall, its a 4 star item because of its value, but since mine came damaged and missing parts, I dropped it to 3 stars.

A good deal, if you are able to work on both sides of your motherboard.
Required complete motherboard access, front and back. More than I wanted to do, but the tech had no problem. Actually oversized for the cooling I needed.
