I didn’t know which part of the ignition system was faulty but it turned out to be the ignition box rather than button, wiring or spark. I replaced the button first of all leaving the other old components in place but that didn’t solve the problem. Then replaced the ignition box which gave me a good spark again. I have the wiring , spark and button components as spares now. If I get the problem again I will start by replacing the ignition box and see if that does the trick. The original components have had a lot of use daily for 6 months a year for about the last 6 years so I’m pretty happy about that performance.

The media could not be loaded.  Accessoire acheté en aftermarket pour pouvoir remplacer et upgrader un simple allumage piezo électrique sans avoir à payer le prix (trop) fort d’une pièce originale Weber; la pièce et l’ensemble fonctionnent très bien.Attention cependant, il n’y a pas de schéma de montage inclus.Mais c’est vraiment très simple à poser.Le top !
