MOD Reverb Tank - 4EB3C1B, Universal, Stainless Steel, Guitar Amp Reverb Tank

I installed a 3 spring tank on my hot rod deluxe and it was just too much, I could only turn the reverb up to like a 2 and it was still boarder-line too much. I suppose some people like the crazy reverb sound, but it's not for me. However, I do still very much appreciate a good old fashioned classic rock reverb and this tank is exactly that. Nice smooth velvety reverb thats not too much. Great affordable replacement tank.

After considering all of the available reverb tanks compatible with my Frontman 212R, this model was the most highly reviewed and rated one across multiple websites. I purchased and installed this unit and was impressed by the "wet" organic sound that it produced. It is reminiscent of the sound produced by my Fender Deluxe Reverb amp. This is probably the least expensive, easiest to install, and best tone upgrades for the Frontman 212R.You will need to purchase extension cables to reach the input and output jacks on the tank. Other than the cables and re-locating the 4 mounting screws, this is a simple installation that can be accomplished in 15-20 minutes.With this reverb installed, the clean chanel on the Frontman 212R compares favorably to amps costing several times more, and blends well with my effects.Ignore the critics of this amp, upgrade with this reverb, and enjoy the great tone.

Super easy install. The original had a zinc chromate coating on the sheet metal, but wasn't finished looking. They just put it in a Tolex bag to cover it all up. This one looks great so I gave up on the bag and have a better looking reverb tank in the bottom of my amp now. Sound is great and I love having my deep reverb sound back.

Solid tank build with great effects decay. Much better sounding tank than the Accutronics it replaced. Sold for a decent price & shipped fast

When I got it out of the box, it was well packaged and I was impressed with the quality. It works very well. The only issue was the RCA plug colors on this unit was reversed for what my Fender Blues Deluxe uses, so pay attention to that during install.

I threw this into my '88 Fender Princeton Chorus red-knob to replace the weak stock tank. Eh, it's nice and drippy and really deepens the effect. A solid upgrade for a modern classic.

A common complaint with the Peavey Classic 30 amp is that the reverb sounds terrible. The one that came with it is a name brand with a medium decay. This new tank is a long decay like used in the classic Fender amps. Now I like the way the Classic 30 sounds much better. Worth the cost to upgrade.

Works perfectly in my Fender 212R. Nice decay, from short to long. Waaaaaaay nicer than the factory unit. You'll need RCA extensions for this if using in the same amp. This unit is longer than stock and the RCA cables on the amp will not reach the farthest input jack. Kind of a PIA but worth the improvement in the sound of the amp.Very happy with this purchase. Two thumbs up!
