I'm blessed to live near a lake, but I live in an older house with windows which don't fit without gaps. Because of this, we sometimes get mosquitoes in the house. I hate having to contend with bugs while trying to sleep! But the situation is better since I got this indoor bug zapper. I know it is working because I see the bodies of electrocuted mosquitoes on the pan at the bottom of the catcher and melded to the wires.

First, the bug tray was completely missing from our unit. Like someone took it out before they packed up the box. Second, it does kill bugs, but at a mediocre rate. We’ve only heard two ‘zaps’ in as many days. But when looking inside there are definitely more gnats dead on the bars or at the bottom of the enclosure. Not a TON, but some. So given that it uses less electricity, and is the least ugly one I’ve seen, and was only $20 we’ll probably keep it. But if you have another $20, don’t care about the aesthetics and want to really take down your bugs with gusto, get a different one.

I had this on for 2 weeks in my house and it did killed 4 flies. It did kill a few other smaller bugs too. I can justify running this think for such a small amount of bugs killed. I tried in different parts of the house and kitchen and still no improvements.Save your $$.Hope this helps!

We really liked this bug zapper. It worked really well. But my dog did not like it at all. We put it in our front porch. My dog would run back inside the minute we turned it on and would be fine when we turned it off. It is a good value for its money.

I hate bugs. Flies drive me insane. I was skeptical that flies would go kill themselves on a bug zapper but they do. 😊 I’ve seen some little mosquito and knat bodies too. But getting rid of houseflies is the best because they come inside anytime you open the door.
