Avoid, avoid, avoid
Never buy a Google phone! Never! The customer support is practically non-existent, and you WILL be needing support. Why?Well, go to Google and search for NFC problems. You literally cannot get contactless payment to work. Tonnes of people have this same problem, and not just with Pixel 3a (even Pixel 6a has the issue). For 2 days when I got the phone, I could not get contactless payment to work. I finally managed to do so, then a few weeks later the phone installed an update and ever since, contactless has stopped working again.I have tried literally everything. I've toggled Flight Mode; I've reinstalled Google Wallet; I've deleted and re-entered my card details; I've checked on Google Play that my phone is "secure" and I've rebooted the phone in safe mode (to check if there were problem apps installed); and despite all this hassle, IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!The icing on the cake is that the relevant topic on the Google support forum has been locked since last year, so you can't even ask anyone about anymore!Google might be good for searching, but don't let the name fool when it comes to phones. First and last Google phone I buy. Useless.

Highly disappointed
Bought phone September 2022. Charging point suddenly stopped working March 2023. Contacted Google for support who informed me the warranty was out since 2020. Was also informed the screen was detached from the phone. Have suspicions my new phone isn't new at all. Ha e to buy a new phone now less than six months after purchasing.

Item has failed after 4 months, screen had a stripe down it then went completely green. Unusable
Utter crap. Supposed to be a brand new phone, failed after 4 months and no avenue for replacement through Amazon. Very poor service, set up and product. Avoid at all costs.

Not a new phone
Screen stopped working after 3 months, took it to iSmash. They informed me the screen was not a genuine Google one and so the phone had been refurbished at some point. Not a new phone!
