*UPDATE* 9/20 - for My original review read below for my initial impressions. However after working with the support team for the Renny I can say that they solved my original issues, and the product is a great one that does everything I needed and more. After posting the original review and preparing to return the device, I was contacted by Ölens Technology's technical support, who offered to exchange my original purchase for a new one. They stated that they had actually found a specific issue when dealing with newer iPhones that caused exactly the behavior I was seeing. They quickly shipped me a new unit and after testing I can confirm that the new on is definitely louder and works exactly as described. If you are having issues, please make certain you contact their technical support first, as they are great to work with and go above and beyond to make certain you are satisfied.*UPDATE* 9/10 - I was contacted by the manufacturer about the issue I had with this. They are exchanging the Renny for a model with a newer firmware that will supposedly correct the issue that I had with the iPhone. I'm updating my review now to 4 out of 5 stars just based off of their awesome customer service, I'll update once more once I receive the updated version and have a chance to test it.<Original Review Follows>Overall the Renny works exactly as advertised. It had decent coverage in my house, and I was able to test with two phones paired with it at the same time with no real issues. The only reason I'll be returning it and only giving it 3 stars is simply that it isn't loud enough for the reason that I bought it.The reason I bought it is for those times when my wife, daughter have managed to leave their cell phone on vibrate in their purse and so don't hear it when someone tries to call them. I was hoping this would be the great solution that would solve that issue for me, and honestly it could be... If it were louder. As it is right now, if I have the ringer turned up on my phone, the phone is louder than the Renny is. If there is any background noise whatsoever in the room (TV, etc..) then the volume on the Renny was too low to even notice if it wasn't right there next to you.

Perfect solution for a home where the cell phone is the only means of contacting you. Cell phones are often left in the Mute setting during work hours and the owner forgets to engage normal operation (ringing) when home. Protective cell phone case also limits hearing range of cell phone ringer. This makes it difficult for others (parents) to contact you. The Renny solved these problems (rings even when the cell phone is left in Mute) and restored peace in the family. Easy to pair with the cell phone. Several volume and ring tone settings are available. Unit is quite small -- about 2" in diameter and about 1.5" tall.

THE GOOD: Once I can get the Renny to connect it works fine, speaker sound is good, and it works as advertised.THE NOT SO GOOD: Bluetooth connection with my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is very unreliable. Sometimes it works easily, but most of the time it doesn’t. When it doesn’t work I have to turn Bluetooth off, or restart the phone, or power the Renny off and back on … trial and error. I have many Bluetooth devices and connecting from my Galaxy S6 Edge has never been such a problem!

Great product, works as expected and more. Easy set up. This is our second purchase, we bought this one for my father in-law. He has a hard time hearing his cell phone ring and this one is very loud and now he'll be able to hear his phone from any room in his house. I know this because we have a 2200 sq ft house and we have no trouble hearing this ring. It even make the "whoop" sound when you receive a text, I no long miss texts.

Does exactly what I wanted it to do. Can answer my cell phone anywhere with this device. The speaker is very clear, easy to understand people, and more importantly the person on the line hears me very clearly. Easy to set up as well....

Very pleased with the Renny Original. It does exactly what I needed. Very portable. Thinking about getting another one for our summer cottage.
