The flash light is good (OK). However after about 5 months the battery failed completely with minimal use. I do not use the flashlight often, but left it in the cradle charging all the time. The battery was never discharged. NITECORE would NOT warrantee the battery "because you should not let it discharge completely" and that the "battery would die after about three months". Batteries for the flashlight are $25. If you do not mind replacing them every 5 or 6 months, this might be a good light for you. Not for me.

Great light, atrocious battery
Nitecore should be ashamed of itself. I have always liked its products, but this battery is a disgrace. My experience has been exactly the same as others here have described: almost no use, but completely DOA battery. I have gone through two of them so far, with a total light use if no more than an hour spread over more than a year. This rig costs too much to behave this way.
