Shower Mat Without Suction Cups, Made in Italy

I purchased this mat over 3 years ago and I have never had a bath mat last this long. My shower pan was textured so I couldn't get a mat to hold by suction to the bottom but this one has done a great job of staying put somehow. Most of all however is the fact it has not mildewed or molded over the years. I have purchased so many Rubbermaid mats over the years and they would last maybe a year if I was lucky. This one is over 3 years old and still looks almost brand new. I have been diligent about hanging it up after use on the handicap bar in the shower which has probably contributed to its long life. I just had to let you know it is a great mat.

After fighting a traditional shower mat with the suction cups and having it continue to slip (I do have a textured floor in the shower), I knew I had to find something that would keep me safe. I came across this one and it sounded interesting. Several reviews had mentioned having a textured floor and it working, so even thought I hated paying this much for a shower mat, I figured my safety was worth it, if it really worked. And it does! Looking at some of the less than favorable reviews, I have to wonder if they read the instructions on how to use it and care for it. I find it very comfortable to stand on and have absolutely no fear of it slipping. I can't recommend this mat enough. I will have to trim down one side ... a 23 x 23 mat fits perfectly in my shower, so right now the drain holes are centered over the floor drain. But it doesn't interfere with it working property.

After using every type of shower non slip mat, including those recommended for yachts, and slipping more than once, I saw this on Amazon and read every review. I ordered it and was skeptical, but followed directions and wet the fiberglass shower pan and stepped gingerly onto it. It stuck! The pods took a little getting used to, but I figured it was next best thing to a foot massage. I use the hole in the corner to hang it up to prevent mold and it doesn't show much through our "rainglass" shower door. See both photos. Interesting concept and another problem solved!

Like! LIKE! When remodeling my shower I bought a shower tray with a textured floor. very slippery.As I searched for a mat I found that all the suction cups shower mats would not hold on textured floors. This mat holds securely and safely. It is definitely different , but once stepping on it , it makes the most secure footing. Just follow the directions, especially making the first solid step on it and relax..5 STARS and feeling safe in the shower.

This mat does exactly what I needed - keeps me from slipping in the shower, which is why I gave it a 5 star rating. I wish it came in white to match my shower floor and didn't have the holes for the drain since it is not needed in my shower which is 5' long and I place the mat in the center, no where near the drain. Water passes over it without puddling up. Also, the description had a disclaimer that it may not work well on a textured shower, but it does on mine. I have a bath-fitter acrylic shower, and it works perfectly.

Bought this for my parents who are 78 and 87 so that they felt safe while in the shower. They are loving it more than they expected it, as they didn't think it would work so well without the suction cups. This actually uses the reverse suction which makes you feel even safer.
