Great for the price.
Bought these to try out because I had never seen a cheap broad head hold up as well as they claimed, plus I thought the profile of the head was pretty cool. I was pleasantly surprised with these broad head. Upon opening the box they feel like plastic, you might get the same exact thought that I had when first seeing them" wow, these will break in one shot"...WRONG. They hold up pretty well as long as they don't meet a tree after a pass through. The flight pattern will change a little because it does catch a good bit of wind. But all and all I love em.I am using a matting prowler SE( 2003 I believe) at a 33inch draw and 85, yes 85 lbs pull. And they held up great to mine.

Nice invention, seems to be very durable.
These are wild, perfect for crossbows, very good product for the money, I haven't hunted with them yet, but have been using one for target practice, holding up fine, arrow has seen better days, but that's par for course.

Worked just fine on a doe.
I shoot a bear supermag 48 recurve that is 45#@28. I shoot 100 grain inserts and 100 grain broadheads at 170 fps messured on a chronograph. I wasn't sure how I felt about shooting a plastic broadheads at whitetail so I had this in the quiver as backup. One thing lead to another and I had to use this broadhead to finish off a doe. I was only 10 yards away, but the arrow when through the chest and stuck into the opposite shoulder. The doe expired quickly (within 5-10 seconds) but the broadhead did break apart into a few peices. This broadhead would do just fine on a deer or anything smaller. My only concern would be going up against the shoulder blade on a poor shot. Overall I'll keep one in the quiver for smaller game and predators, but they haven't let me down yet.

I hope this story clears up questions.
Ok so there are no straight answers on here. I bought these things. First off they are plastic, a reall hard abs style plastic. Probably injection molded. The edges are pretty sharp. The are two edged like an Indian arrowhead. “Native American” srry. I saw a lot of talk about archers paradox on here. I know what that is but I’m using these on a Xbow. If you’re at a level that archers paradox is part of your firing solution. These are not for you IMHO. I got these to dispatch coyotes in and around my yard. I have a glorious expensive view of an abandoned desert golf course that has been overrun by pet killing, garbage eating song dogs. I’m dealing with mangy targets at close range. I’ve lost too many pricey broad heads because they pass through and hit rocks and gravel. I used one of these last night at about 15 yards. I hit the infernal beast in the chest and the arrow passed longways and exited by his a$$hole. It was one of my most epic shots! The arrow made a nasty would channel and he randomly about 50 feet before he gave up the ghost. I don’t think the arrowhead did anything different than any other would. The poor is it works. I made a few long range shots this morning on a bag. Forget grouping! The arrows fly in a corkscrew path that is clearly visible. The corkscrew gets bigger down range. So nothing past 20 yards at all!! I would not use these on big game or consider them ethically sound. I just don’t care about coyotes. They killed my cat and they would kill a child if they could. These are cheap and I dare say primitive. Not precise, but good enough at close range. Maybe lower velocity bows could use these effectively. But high FPS brings out some severe aerodynamic problems. Hope this long story helps in making your purchase. Happy hunting!

They’re plastic. Or as they say, “space age polymer”. Lol
They’re plastic. I don’t see how this would kill without breaking. I’ll give them a shot cause they’re so inexpensive. P.S. What the hell is “space age polymer”. Humans have been going to space for decades. So what age is space? And the picture of the water buffalo on the back? What’s that about? These plastic broad heads aren’t going through water buffalo bone, even with my 340 spine arrows and my 100 grain inserts. I shoot a real arrow, no twizlers or flippers and floppers for this guy.

cool idea but not worth the risk
I'll start this by saying I'm a huge Cold Steel fan. I have swords, knives, a blowgun and a few other random items of theirs. I've always been satisfied with their stuff. They are sharp enough to kill with. The actual broadhead is strong enough for one time use. I would not recommend using them though. Using them with my bow, shooting at 340fps, I decided to use a few of them for practice with a foam target and every single one of them broke off inside the target leaving the plastic screw in section inside of my crossbolts. Needless to say, you can't get them out. I tried drilling them out and retapping the inserts but the taps weren't 100% straight so they aren't useable. Basically, you will sacrifice your inserts and you may compromise the shaft trying to replace the inserts. Not worth using these in my opinion. I've never had a metal broadhead snap off. This is a good idea but not good enough. They need metal threads and a metal rod going through the body of the arrow head for them to really be useable for reliable hunting.

I was not disappointed, either by Cold Steel or by Amazon
The prospect of a cheap broad-head hunting point that was cheap enough and durable to practice with was a proposition I couldn't pass up. I had viewed the Cold Steel demonstration and had no doubt the Cheapshot would do. I was not disappointed, either by Cold Steel or by Amazon. The package arrived in a timely manner. I have subjected the arrow heads to a truly punishing series of tests. Even when I missed, and hit a tree , I still had a usable point. The things are easily as sturdy as the field tips they replaced, yet gave me a feel for how they would act on a hunt.

Great product
These are going to be my main coyote/small game broadhead, no sense wasting expensive broadheads on coyotes/small game when these will do just fine at a fraction of the price. I did have a problem with shipping but the kind people at the company were able to figure it out. I saw some reviews saying they “wasted there money on these cause they’re plastic”, which they are plastic but they aren’t a big game broadhead and I’ve never seen it marketed as such. I have seen videos of big game hunts with it(mostly deer) and it worked but I personally wouldn’t really trust it for big game. In the end great product that if you know what it is your buying before hand(a cheap head for coyotes/small game), you won’t be disappointed. Thanks for reading, have a great day!!!

good for some situations but not a replacement for big game broadheads
These heads would never work in a big game hunting situation, that wasnt my intention, but dont use for this purpose.they easily break at neck of the threads, they dull very quickly, after first or second shot, some were bent at neck on arrival, so out of alignment with the arrow. I had 2 heads out of the ten I used that have had unaligned necks.I purchased for aerial bird and small game for this they work good for a single or low multiple use. They are cheap one or two use broadheads, so for that I give a thumbs up. I purchased the 50 pack so I have lots but may buy again based on a cheap alternative for small game. Just dont be fooled by other write ups and reviews. not a replacement for a big game broadhead.
